14.01.2022 Melbourne Orchid Spectacular 2020 OSCOV announced yesterday (27th June) that due to the COVID-19 situation and the ensuing complications, the Melbourne Orchid Spectacular 2020 has been cancelled. More details are available at https://oscov.asn.au/

11.01.2022 We hope everyone is staying safe and well during the ongoing pandemic situation. At this time of year we usually see the early season Cyms in bloom. To make up for the lack of meetings, Geoff Bailey has been producing extra issues of his e-zine Cymbidium Chatter and these are now available on our website: https://www.cosv.com.au/publications-and-resources Geoff welcomes photos and articles, so if you would like to contribute, please send him an email at [email protected]

11.01.2022 2020 COSV Show cancelled Unfortunately restrictions have been extended here in Victoria due to a recent uptick in COVID-19 cases and it is looking likely that restrictions on large public gatherings are going to continue for some time. As a result, we have decided to cancel the annual COSV show for the year, as there is no guarantee that it would be able to go ahead. Meetings are still on hold for the moment as we must wait to see how COVID-19 cases trend over the next three ...weeks. Remember to check https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus regularly for the current restrictions and government advice. In the meantime, Geoff is still producing Cymbidium Chatter (which you can find on our site at https://www.cosv.com.au/publications-and-resources) and encourages anyone with plants in bloom to share photos for inclusion in upcoming issues.

01.01.2022 Unfortunately the May 2020 meeting has been cancelled due to current government restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time it is expected that the June meeting may also need to be cancelled and we will update you further closer to the date.
