07.01.2022 The Strength for Life program at Council on the Ageing ACT is very popular. So popular that one of the participants wrote this glowing testimonial. "Hi Diane, I just wanted to give you some feedback about the Strength for Life program. Since I had my assessment and joined the program I have had great improvement in muscle strength and tone in my arms and abdomen. I feel stronger and my posture has improved as well as my balance. I am still being challenged by exercises that r...equire an increased level of coordination. The combination of an individual program with group warm ups and stretching is a winner. The social contact and on going encouragement from the instructor and others in the class is invaluable. I have recommended this program to doctors including my specialist at the Westmead Hospital. Lots of older people suffer from pain and inactivity as a result of chronic health problems such as arthritis. Strength for Life offers a proven program which can improve our lives and is affordable. Thanks!" For more information about the Strength for Life program visit the Council on the Ageing ACT website. https://www.cotaact.org.au/programs/s4l/
