19.01.2022 This clients contracted electrical service company couldn't get these 2, huge, 165kW motors to start. So before they spent money on bigger motor starters (as they were advised to do) they called us to see if we could get them going. The Cotek Electrical Services technicians re-programmed the motor soft-starters, and recalibrated the 630a main circuit breaker and the client is now able to safely start both motors. This plant is now commissioned and doing the job it was installed to do.

17.01.2022 This old sub-arc boom welder was causing its owner untold grief. The old Esab welding equipment was hard to use and the boom itself was constantly breaking down, and with no electrical schematic it was the cause of more than a few headaches for our technicians. After a refurbishment and upgrade, by Cotek Electrical Services, the new cabinet, control gear and pendant controller, coupled with a Lincoln DC-600 / NA-5 sub-arc will now provide better service and reliability for years to come. (We also provided a new electrical schematic. Should there be any issues it will also now be easier to repair).

09.01.2022 Cotek Electrical Services recently installed this uninterptable power supply for a client. Any interruption to their power could be disastrous for their business. If there is a blackout this system will automatically start a standby diesel generator and engage a changeover switch so they can continue as normal. When power is restored the system will shutdown the generator and automatically switchback to normal line power.

01.01.2022 Cotek Electrical Services was recently asked to replace these inefficient and unreliable 1000watt metal-arc floodlights with new 720watt LED floodlights. The new LED floods run at a fraction of the cost of the old lights, but more importantly, this staff carpark is now alot brighter, and safer at nightime.
