24.01.2022 A massive congratulations goes to Rick for winning our mini draft at the end of our 26th - 27th September Cots Camp. Your support for Cots Camp is greatly appreciated. It has been awesome watching you improve from each and every Cots Camp. Thank you to all the riders, volunteers and family who make these great weekends possible. We hope you all had an awesome time!

24.01.2022 Just a reminder that anyone who has participated in a Cots Camp or 4 day ride, or has helped out in any way in the past 6 years is invited to our Christmas party on the 21st-22nd of November. There is no cost associated with the draft, the only cost will be to purchase your food and drinks. If you would like to book in for the draft, please just send us a message ASAP. 21.01.2022 This will be your last chance to nominate for our Christmas Party as we need to know how many cattle we need. To nominate please just message us with the riders name, what horse they will be riding and if they are 16 years old or under. As previously stated, food and drinks will be the only cost for the weekend. Our caterer will be Frango Succulento and below will be a message from them containing their menu. Cots Camp will be serving our regular drinks so please support ...us throughout the weekend. Message from our caterer We sell wood smoked 12 inch footlong kabana rolls. We offer 8 flavours, Plain, Honey/Garlic, Bratwurst, Sweet Chilli Chicken, Cheese and Chilli Beef, chorizo and spicy chorizo served with sauteed onion, bacon, cheese, coleslaw and polski gerkins. Extra additionals are german potato salad/ homemade coleslaw and fresh green tossed garden salads in a lemon/lime dressing. We also have Italian porchetta pork and Portuguese chicken gravy rolls, Brazilian bbq beef steak and gravy rolls, Also along with our Cape Grim tasmanian rib eye fillet steak / salad rolls and woodsmoked bacon/ 2 x egg rolls footlong size, big hearty breakfast meals, with smashed avacado. ALL served with 6 specialty sauces or complimentary sauces. We Will be set up from 9am until late. Come and enjoy a 12 inch footlong woodsmoked kabana. 17.01.2022 What an enjoyable 1 day clinic! It was great to see so many good rounds by great people. Congratulations to BJ for winning the campdraft at the end with a score of 89. Much fun was had by all. See you all again at the Christmas party

15.01.2022 This year at the Christmas party we will also be celebrating 6 successful years of Cots Camp. We would like to invite everyone who has supported us in any way (participants, volunteers) to come along to our Christmas party on the 21st 22nd of November and celebrate with us. The weekend will include a campdraft (juvenile, Cots Camp participants, Cots Camp winners), stockmans challenge, Cots Camp iron man, whip cracking, bronco branding, live entertainment Saturday night from... the Kenas, and much more. The winners campdraft will go for two rounds and a calcutta will be held Saturday night in conjunction with this draft. The draft is free of charge with the only cost being food and drinks. As we all want to enjoy the weekend, there will be food for purchase from outside caterers and drinks to purchase from us. The draft will be starting at 8:00 am Saturday. Below is the nomination form for the draft, please fill a separate form out for each rider and return it to us before the 28th of October. It is a one horse, one rider draft. If you require a PDF version of the form, please just message us. We hope to see you all there.

15.01.2022 Even though Covid-19 hit this year, we still managed to fit 20 great clinics in for 2020. The Christmas party is only a fortnight away and even though it is a one horse, one rider draft, we are pleased to say that we have over 70 nominations! Saturday will start at 8:00am with the juvenile draft followed by the participants draft and the first round of the winners draft. The winner of both the juvenile and participants draft will then compete in the winners draft. The aftern...oon will include demonstrations of bronco branding and fun activities . The four teams for bronco branding will consist of workers from Sullivans, Burnett livestock, Nolans and Cots Camp, all under Phils instructions. There will be a calcutta Saturday night to auction off the riders in the second round of the winners draft, including entertainment from the Kenas. Sunday will also start at 8:00am with the stockmans challenge, followed on by the final of the winners draft. Food will be available from Frango Succulento and drinks will be available from us.

14.01.2022 Cots Camp is heading off to Manumbar campdraft this weekend . We will be out of service from tomorrow (Thursday) until Monday, therefore we will be unable to answer any messages within that time period. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope everyone has a great weekend.

13.01.2022 It’s still not to late to nominate for our Christmas party on the 21st-22nd of November. Saturday will begin at 8:00am with the junior and juvenile draft. It will then be followed by the participants draft, to then finish off the day with the winners draft. There will be demonstrations including Bronco Branding, Cots Camp Iron Man and fun events to fill the afternoon. We will have entertainment Saturday night by the Kenas as well as a Calcutta for the final of the winners dr...aft. Sunday will also begin at 8:00am with the stockmans challenge followed on by the final of the winners draft. Everyone who has supported us in any way over the past 6 years is invited to come. To nominate for the draft please just fill out the nomination form and send it through to us, or just simply send us a message with who is riding, what horse they will be riding, and if the rider/s are 16 or under.

13.01.2022 Our March clinic has filled up quickly so our next clinic with spots available will be our 10th-11th April Cots Camp. You can either book into this clinic or organise a private clinic with all your mates. If you would like to book a private clinic, book in or just after more information just send us a message.

We thank you all for your tremendous support throughout 2020. 2021 is going to be a big year so we hope to see you all then for more great times! 11.01.2022 21st-22nd November 2020 We have set the date for our Christmas Party . This year not only will we be celebrating Christmas, we will also be celebrating 6 consecutive years of Cots Camp! A massive thank you goes out to all our participants, volunteers, and families involved in making Cots Camp as great as it is today. ... We invite all participants, participants families, volunteers, and supporter to come along, nominate in the campdraft and have a great weekend away. To nominate for the campdraft, a nomination form will be available soon. We will have live entertainment by the Kena’s , plenty of laughs, and an awesome time. More fun events will also be included into the weekend which will be shared later .

10.01.2022 Our 2021 dates are now out The dates are as below however they are subject to change due to private clinics. Along with our general Cots Camps we also offer private lessons on Wednesdays and private Cots Camps. We offer the same in our private Cots Camps as we do in our general clinics. It is a perfect way to spend a weekend with your mates learning campdrafting. To book a private Cots Camp you must have a minimum of 10 participants. ... A deposit of $165 (non refundable to our discretion) is due one month prior to the clinic you are booking into to confirm your attendance. We are always looking to improve Cots Camp, so this year we have incorporated an emphasis on cattle handling skills which will expand your cattle knowledge and benefit your campdrafting. If you would like to book into any of the clinics, organise a private lesson or clinic or just after more information please don’t hesitate to contact us.
