15.01.2022 Here’s what Andy wrote 'A special cottage approached through a deep pine plantation, away from the road with an outlook over forested hills. Comfortable and well set up, with all a short or long term visitor needs. Superbly tranquil at night, peaceful by day, a quick drive down to Lake Barrington and a short hour’s drive up to Cradle Mountain. As nice a place as you could wish for. We were three family members, cottage would suit a couple, or two couples, or a family, or a group of 3-4 friends. Excellent cooking and washing facilities, comfortable beds, clean, organised, with top communication from Birralee. Very warmly recommended.'

12.01.2022 Hello all unfortunately Tasmania has had to close its boarders to protect its citizens. We are utilising this time to deep clean and do those jobs that we have been putting off. We are looking forward to a time in the future when people can enjoy our beautiful state again and come and stay at our cottage in the pines. Stay safe Birralee and Michael

12.01.2022 The weather was a bit better today so we finished off the last of the beds ready for planting.

While Craig Cooper saved our backs by scraping the pathway in preparation for paving. Yes I also did some lifting not just the photographer lol.
