25.01.2022 Our local footy club cant operate without your support (we know how good it is to handball out kids on a Sunday morning to a coach - we have such awesome dads who volunteer their time). 05.01.2022 Today we received an update from the WAFC.. In a united decision with the AFL and other State football bodies, the West Australian Football Commission has agreed to postpone all senior and junior community football in both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. Consistent with the decision yesterday in relation to State League football, all community football competitions will be postponed until 31st May 2020. There is to be no training until 31st May 2020... It is important to note that the season is NOT Cancelled. This will raise many questions from you all. WAFC have indicated that they will be meeting to consider everything from registrations and team nomination dates through to finals and awards night. Please bear with us whilst we, in conjunction with the governing body (WAFC), navigate through this ever changing situation. We will continue to review the situation and provide the Magpie football community with regular updates.
