20.01.2022 Brave little Meggie here had a bit of a rough trot a few months back, when she got in the way of one of her much bigger equine friends, and ended up with a badly broken leg! Were glad to say that the Cottesloe Vet team (featuring Dr Daves surgical skill!) was able to help put Meggie back together again, and here she is, back out doing doggy things and living her best life. Thanks for being a star patient Meggie, and thanks to her pet parents for bringing her to us, taking such good care of her post-op and of course for allowing us to share these gorgeous photos.

Please be very cautious and dont allow your pets any access to these products. If you do find theyve consumed any amount of xylitol-containing products, dont wait - contact a vet immediately.

14.01.2022 Along with our neighbouring clinics, look how many syringes we've saved from going to landfill so far! Plastic disposable syringes are a huge waste product of the human medical and veterinary industries, but we're doing what we can to be more sustainable by sending these off to be recycled. Syringes that have handled biological matter must still be disposed of, but those used for things like vaccines and anaesthetics/medications can be retained and recycled :)... We are also recycling general items and glass injectable vials such as those that our vaccinations come in

06.01.2022 #makeJallyjolly #adoptme #sweetboy Our adorable Jally was a sad surrender as her owner is now moving with work. Jally is a very sweet and intelligent 7yr old Be...lgian Shepherd who is in search of her new home. She is sensitive and requires a very quiet home environment where she can feel safe and secure whilst forming a strong bond with her people. Jally is a bit nervous of new things and strange people but with a gentle, rewarding approach she is easily won over. She is best suited for experienced dog owners who are somewhat familiar or is knowledgeable of the breed. In the right home Jally will for sure make a very loving and loyal companion. She certainly didnt enjoy the loud wind last night (like most dogs) so our lovely vollie Dionne took her to our lounge room KOKOs for a quiet snooze this morning and she relaxed straight away. Were looking for part time workers to help her settle in and older kids she has been around young kids before but ideally a quite home as her life has just been changed dramatically so she will need lots of quiet TLC. Jally has been taken to the park previously and reportedly gets on with some dogs and ignores others. She can be nervous of new people particularly males so she will probably be best with a female owner or a very gentle male who can give her space and work on the relationship through rewards based training. A quiet home environment where she can relax and feel secure in imperative. Shes good on lead and very smart and will benefit reward based gentle guidance from her people. We are hoping someone who is familiar with her breed and with dog experience will fall in love with this sweetheart as we have. #rescueisthebestbreed #adoptdontshop
