25.01.2022 I spy a few Hens Tune in tomorrow night to the Perth Football League Facebook page to see the results of 2020 Medal Presentation at 7pm.

25.01.2022 This year we celebrated NAIDOC Week during our last home and away game of the season, participating in a gift exchange with Mosman Park Football Club as a way to reflect and acknowledge the contribution Indigenous Australian individuals have made to the game AFL, and to acknowledge all First Nations People. Mudurup (pronounced Moordoorup), meaning place of the yellow-finned whiting, is our home ground, Cottesloe. Mudurup was known to be a place frequented by our First Natio...n People and is regarded as an important coastal site on the Swan Coastal Plain. During birok (summer) our First Nation People would use their skills to spear fish, while in burnoru (winter) they would use the higher grounds, such as the Mudurup Rocks, to source food. The Mudurup Rocks, located on the coast next to the surf club, is an important Indigenous mythological and ceremonial fishing site. The ceremonies held here are said to have helped reassure the ‘old people’ that their ancestors were still watching out for them (Bodney and; Macintyre & Dobson, 2014). We’re proud to have such a rich history and to call Mudurup our home. #naidoc2020 #alwayswasalwayswillbe

15.01.2022 BLOODS' PLAYER'S PLAYER !! Outstanding game from Deyvn Jackamarra who was voted the Bloods' player's player and also winner of the medal for best Bloods player in their derby against Mosman Park! As part of the 2015 Bloods premiership team, Deyvn has been a standout player for the club across the years with his speed and clean disposal! ... In a huge day for the club with both the derby and NAIDOC Indigenous Round, Devyn was prominent from the first bounce! As the co-captain he lead by example, hard all day at the footy using his pace at both ends of the ground, driving the team and playing a blinder - well done Devyn!!

15.01.2022 BLUES' PLAYER'S PLAYER !! Exceptional game from James Turner who was voted the Blues' player and also winner of the Jack Swan medal in their big derby against Mosman Park! In what was a short season, it speaks volumes to James' calibre as a footballer, his leadership and his consistency where he receives this accolade twice in it! ... You never get as anything less 100% from James, and against Mosman Park he out on an absolute clinic, with his cool composure when he had the footy, drilling kicks and hitting targets off both sides! His tackling was also a feature and there was no doubt more than a few sore mossies after the game! We can't wait to see him back on the park next year - well done for both a great game and season James!!

07.01.2022 BLOODS' PLAYER'S PLAYER !! Outstanding game from David McArthur who was voted the Bloods' player's player in their semi-final match against Ellenbrook! David has become a midfield feature across both the Blues and Bloods sides this season and this is his second player's player accolade in a shortened season, which is more than impressive to say the least!... The stakes and the intensity in a finals match are always higher than the regular season but David went about his role in a methodical manner, cool and calm with his disposal and hard at the contest winning his own footy! On top of this he went to work after the game - what a machine! Well done David!!
