14.01.2022 Swamp wallaby, unlike kangaroos these guys are solitary animals that are rarely seen in pairs. Mainly feed on the foliage of shrubs, ferns, sedges, grasses and fungi (which they dig up). They play a significant role in the dispersal of fungal spores.

07.01.2022 This photo was sent to us by a Cotton Grower in the lower Namoi valley. It is an Eastern Bandy-bandy which they relocated from their swimming pool to their creek. They are a burrowing species usually found in cracks or under logs and rocks. While venomous they are regarded as virtually harmless.
