19.01.2022 Tricks of the Trade Our build in bait pockets are threaded on a galvanised ring which is then clipped into the crabpots with 4 x long life clips. This will make it easy to tenet the bait pocket by simply cutting the 4 clips, replace the net and then reclip onto to the crabpots. Enjoy your Sunday!

19.01.2022 Trick of the trade We use rope around the frame of our crabpots to protect the netting from wear and tear. Being thrown in boats and sheds can take its toll on crabpots. We use 6mm rope which has proven durable and tough in all conditions. Each rope is cut and sealed so it will not fray, we crimp the ends together with a metal tie gun. Happy Monday!

15.01.2022 TRICKS OF THE TRADE We designed the split leg system in our pots which we call the Coucoms split leg This system allows ease to assemble and pull apart. The poly pipe will last longer as the little leg helps support the small pipe.

06.01.2022 We don’t just make new crab pots, we can repair them aswell! These are some crabpots I was asked to repair, the net was eaten by mice and some of the ropes and legs were broken. So I re netted the pots with new split legs and they all have bait pockets in them now. Photos are old vs new! ...
