17.01.2022 Residents of West Ward, HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your families! The new year begins with a community consultation for Kokoda Park in Kensington where we are asking the community to give their feedback on what they would like as part of the playground redevelopment. ... The consultation period starts today(15th January) and finishes on the 11th February. It’s always great to see my motions coming to fruition!
16.01.2022 Fellow Residents, After being approached by a number of residents and a local football club, tonight I will be bringing forward a motion aimed at replacing the Amenities Block at Paine Reserve on Rainbow Street. I’m hoping to have this capital works project included in the 2021/22 Budget!
14.01.2022 It’s great to see people coming back to our Town Centres and the fruition of my motion coming into effect- just over 12 months ago I asked that Council hold activations in Kingsford and Kensington with the aim of bringing residents into the Town Centre to encourage a Shop Local Approach. This is the first of many activations we hope to hold. I’d like to also thank the Kingsford Chamber of Commerce and Randwick Council for rejuvenating Southern Cross Laneway which has been dedicated to Charles Kingsford Smith!
13.01.2022 Better Education is the way to go! At a time when our council is facing some of its most adverse challenges surely our staff have better things to do than go through rubbish..... oh and what if someone contaminated your bin after it’s been put out for collection or someone sifts through your bin prior to collection!
04.01.2022 Residents of West Ward.... over the last 3 weeks my wife and I have distributed 10,000 calendars throughout Kingsford and Kensington. If you haven’t received a calendar please let me know and I’m happy to provide you with one!
