21.01.2022 Tonight Council unanimously voted for my urgency motion calling for Council to write to Minister Paul Toole extending the community Consultation on the highway duplication for Medlow Bath! The last community consultation was held over video conferencing and was littered with tech issues. That's not good enough. We need consultation that can be done with small groups abiding by social distancing. The community needs to be properly consulted!

12.01.2022 Zombie development site purchase could solve Katoomba traffic problems! The purchase of land in Goldsmith Place Katoomba by the State Government and Blue Mountains Council could solve traffic jams and make room for coach parking.... According to Ward 1 Cr Schreiber It’s a golden opportunity to build a second entrance into Katoomba. The 3,418 square metre site beside Yeaman Bridge was approved in 2007 for a block of 60 units and 14 offices and was never acted on. It is now being offered for sale. Cr Schreiber says whatever it costs, the use of the land to build another entrance into Katoomba could stop traffic congestion at the main entrance to the town, and help to make Katoomba commercial area and tourist attractions more accessible to residents and tourists. The property is prime real estate and it has been fenced off for years, Cr Schreiber said.
