25.01.2022 A beautiful morning with my fellow Councillors at the City of South Perth RSL Sub Branch’s Remembrance Day Service. Lest We Forget.

24.01.2022 Local councils are the closest level of government to our communities. As elected Councillors, we have the great privilege of representing our residents and ratepayers. It was an honour to be re-elected as Councillor for the Mill Point Ward. As part of our wonderful democratic process, I’m a firm believe that every vote counts. That’s why I organised a catch up earlier this week with Mary Choy for South Perth a candidate in my ward. Though Mary wasn’t elected, her views and those of her supporters are important. It was a great opportunity to discuss and clarify council matters within our beautiful City. Thanks for the chat, Mary! Hoping to catch up with Steven Lau too.

21.01.2022 It's an honour to have been re-elected as Councillor for the Mill Point Ward for another four years! I'd like to thank you all for your continued support, and for again placing your faith in me to represent you on our council.

21.01.2022 These are before and after photos of a courtyard garden at the Concorde Nursing Home Aged Care Facilities in South Perth. A small job but with an extraordinary outcome as this little garden area is where some of the residents love to sit. It was lovely to see them outside today smiling. There is one more job to do and that is to fix their little winter garden and Concorde need a BBQ (where the brick paving is), some artificial grass and a bit of lattice. This would allow them to have another area to sit while someone cooks a snag or two on the barbie. To all the staff at Concorde, keep up the great work!

20.01.2022 After being re-elected Councillor on Saturday, we had our swearing in last night at the Council Chamber. It's such an honour to represent the City of South Perth and to meet all the new Councillors. I was so very proud to have my step son Jarrad there to support me and to witness such an important ceremony!

18.01.2022 Sun setting over the Perth skyline, a magic moment to capture on our anniversary!

09.01.2022 The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal men and by doing so equips them to participate meaningfully in society. I was humbled to witness and be apart of the year 12 graduation at Clontarf today. I know first hand how life can be challenging and from listening to the speeches, many of these boys have faced many challenges. It was just so pleasing to see them hang in there and graduate. Congratulations and remember to continue to look forward in life!

08.01.2022 Your local voice for our local issues. Make your vote count!

04.01.2022 This morning I joined Steve at the opening of the new facilities at St Maria Goretti’s Catholic School. The Federal Government contributed $1.35 million which has gone towards an undercover assembly/multi-purpose area, an extended canteen and library area as well as a new playground. Congratulations to the staff and students of St Maria Goretti’s on this very special day for the School Community. The facilities are fantastic!

03.01.2022 Enjoyed representing Steve Irons MP (my husband) at Belmont City College year 12 graduation ceremony. I wish graduates all the very best for their future endevous. Congratulations again to Nikita Powell on receiving the Steve Irons sponsored award for Active Involvement in Intersport. Crystal Heo and Patrick Comedia performed the song, Wherever I Go by Miley Cyrus. Crystal definately has the X Factor!! What a voice! ... Congratulations once again to everyone involved especially the teachers and of course the parents and families!

01.01.2022 Nice to visit the South Perth Senior Citizens Center and see them celebrating Halloween. I wanted to dress up as a witch but thought I'd scare the seniors too much.... so I went as myself and gave out some goodies with SPSCC stalwart, Margaret Evans. God bless our elderly!
