22.01.2022 I was delighted to have Cr James Mackay come and check out some of the new facilities that we've got at Badbury Park! The Magic Garden was an idea that I was very happy to take from the Kedron Heights Community Kindergarten, so it was wonderful to see so many local kids getting out and playing in the outdoors and enjoying the 'Magic Forrest' and Scooter Track at Bradbury Park. The Bradbury Park upgrade is not yet complete, but it is already the envy of many of my Council col...leagues, so I took great joy in showing off the new space to my good friend Cr Mackay. That's not all though! Next week we'll be heading out to the Western Suburbs to see what is happening in the Walter Taylor Ward, to see if there is anything we could replicate here on the Northside.

Queensland Police has been informed and Council's Contact Centre has been notified. DO NOT CALL the mobile number listed on the letter.... We encourage anyone who has received or is concerned about this fake letter to contact Council on 3403 8888.

03.01.2022 More signage for Lutwyche/Maygar intersection upgrade! I joined Cr Andrew Wines at the newly upgraded Lutwyche Road/Maygar Street intersection to inspect the new signage and line markings that have been placed. After further conversations with residents in the area, and in response to requests for more signage, static signs have been placed prior to the intersection to advise of changed traffic conditions.... There has also been a large electric sign placed just off Brook Street. Initially we were hoping for it to be placed between Whish and McKenzie Street’s, however there was not a complaint location for the sign there. Additionally, further arrow markings have been added preceding the intersection. We understand this is a substantive change for those who are used to the intersection prior to the upgrades, but once driver behaviour adjusts to the changes, this intersection will help the whole network flow more smoothly.
