24.01.2022 The cycle of nature continues. Today Bathurst Regional Council staff begin removing the spring plantings. On Wednesday boys and girls from St Philomena's Catholic Primary School Bathurst, Cathedral Catholic Primary School, Bathurst, Bathurst Public School, Bathurst West Public School and Carenne Primary School Bathurst brought much happiness to many residents in our aged care facilities. Thanks PRIME7 News Central West for a great story and one of Kelso High Campus - Denison College’s finest, Ella Pappalardo, for you help.

21.01.2022 Maybe not really special to some, but today beautiful Frances and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Some turbulent times during those years I can tell you, we survived, stronger and more resilient. Each day is a real bonus.

With the Australia wide catastrophic run on toilet paper, we need to come up with creative solutions. What do you think? Let’s hope we don’t get to Level 4 dunny dialogue, that’s only a few hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Now that would be catastrophic!!

Along with daughter Julia ( was she the naughty one at school?), Maureen joined 28 other Bathurstians and became Aussies. Congratulations to all of you. How long until this decision was made Maureen? She will tell you. Now she is practising saying G’day maaaate without a Pommy accent.

04.01.2022 Nice flow in the Macquarie River at the Gordon Edgell Bridge this evening. Currently the Chifley Dam is at 70%, the highest level for over two years. Good inflows into the dam continuing. Great news all round.
