18.01.2022 Liverpool can no longer tolerate being the dumping ground of bad ideas. Liverpool will no longer put up with a she’ll be right, fix it later attitude. It is time that Liverpool decides its own destiny, not the Major Parties.

12.01.2022 Liverpool Council Media Release
11.01.2022 Possible crime threat - door knockers in Lurnea A constituent living in the Lurnea area is warning of people knocking on residents doors claiming to have recently moved into the street and are chasing a letter that has not been delivered to them, and further asking if they have received any mail that did not belong to them. On each occasion the guys claiming to have lost their mail gave false claims as to the address where they claimed they had recently moved into the street.... It is of particular concern as one of the places they had approached, later had their home invaded and burgled late at night and the resident's vehicle number plates were caught on CCTV committing a crime. As the same vehicles owning the number plates caught on CCTV, were still in the driveway with the residents and owners being none the wiser that their vehicles were impllcated until the Police turned up to investigate the crime that had taken place. It is an ongoing crime investigation, and although there is no certainty between the door knocking missing mail claim and the later crimes committed it is well worth noting the warning for residents to be aware. The residents claiming the door knocking mail seeking visitors, house burglary and the owners of the vehicles photographed participating in a crime are all in their 70's and long term residents of 30 odd years living at the same address. It is well worth the warning for all residents in the area, particularly the elderly to be aware and take all necessary precautions.
