25.01.2022 Hope to catch up with you at tomorrow morning’s friendship markets here in Kingaroy.

23.01.2022 Thank you to Steph and Lance Whitaker, the owners of Biggeden Saleyards who when I contacted them were so generous as to meet with our Council and share their story and learnings. Today we saw firsthand the fruits of their $3.7 million dollar investment in the redevelopment of their yards in 2019, after being successful in gaining a $1.2 million State Government grant. As we learned today, planning is the key to any successful project with a clear scope and understanding of what you need the final project to deliver on. As we turn our focus to what could be at Coolabunia Saleyards I believe what we learned today wil be invaluable. Thank you to Kristy and Olivia from BIEDO and my fellow Councillors for making the trip and sharing in this opportunity.

20.01.2022 Great to catch up with MBDA President, Mark Smith, the Murgon Business Development Association members and our local member Deb Frecklington MP at this mornings breakfast. Great food, great people and great opportunity to listen and learn more about potential projects, real local issues and share ideas for what could be. It’s my view our Regional Development Strategy must reflect the community aspirations for lifestyle improvements and economic growth and established networks like these are key to informing our desired way forward. I envisage our strategy won’t be set in stone, instead it will be a living document that will pivot as both opportunities and challenges arise.

09.01.2022 When your job means you can’t step away for coffee, I’ll just have to bring the coffee to you! Thank you to the traffic control crew doing a top job on the KTP works in Alford Street.
