19.01.2022 Kingborough Council would love to hear your thoughts on borrowing a no interest loan to fund the playground development so that it can be done all at once, rather than staged. Please click on the link below to take the survey. We know that many residents want to see greater consultation by the Council so here is your chance.

02.01.2022 CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT from the Mayor of Kingborough It is with great difficulty that we have made the decision to close the Kingston Civic Centre to the public ...from 5pm today. This decision has been made to protect the health and well-being of our community and staff. Council staff will continue to provide services and assistance to the public by phone and online. We acknowledge this is a stressful time for everyone. I thank all of our staff for showing great resilience and innovation during this time. Please bear with us while we navigate these challenges. We will keep you up to date on our website and social media channels. More news will be coming about how Council will be supporting the community through a new Rates Hardship Policy and other measures. Our council meeting last night showed great unity from all Councillors in the hard decisions we need to make to keep connected with our community. The Bruny Island Service Centre will remain open. More information about impacts to Council’s facilities and services can be found at www.kingborough.tas.gov.au/coronavirus. #COVID19Tas #LGTas #KCnews
