Learning to remain present and notice rather than attach to our thoughts is one of the many valuable skills meditation can help to develop. 19.01.2022 It has been just under two years since Mindbright opened its door to the Karratha community. It is a testament to those individuals that showed the courage to walk through that door that I have chosen to expand on my training to become a qualified psychologist. This commitment is time-intensive and requires a break from provision of counselling services. At this stage there is no confirmed date when the practice will re-open. 12.01.2022 This is so common. If you experience challenging emotions post-therapy take time for self care and bring the experience back to your next session to explore with your therapist.

06.01.2022 In the current climate, remembering that feelings are not to be feared, avoided or suppressed will support navigating the months ahead. ALL feelings are valid. Consider your feelings as information, a barometer of your internal weather conditions. Be an observer of the feelings you experience. Bring awareness to them, give each of them the space and time they need to be present and then allow them to pass.
