Kar is head coach at Southside Muai Thai the largest Muay Thai gym in SA Kar has trained in Muai Thai since the late 80s and is coaching full time since 2007.... Excited to have a coach with Kars experience and expertise on board with a great location in Black Forest close to Adelaide CBD. 07.01.2022 Just realised that this year mark's 35 years for me as a coach running my own club! This photo was my first ever "grading" class of graduates in 1985 for the Ballymote kickboxing club! Fast forward to my most recent group of CounterPunch student graduates in Sept this year!... Coaching young people has been the most consistent thing in my life After 35 years and numerous pieces of paper it's time to replicate what works! 06.01.2022 Many of us struggle with saying No. It's not because we want to say yes. Usually it's because we dont want to hurt someone's feelings Society teaches us that other peoples feelings are more important than our own ... We need to teach our kids that the only behavior (feelings) we can control is our own. The only thing we can do to influence others behavior is to give information It's not wrong to put ourselves first. It's ok to take care of ourselves!
