22.01.2022 Several times a week, we get a phone call "do you repair wood heater glass doors?" The answer is YES WE DO! In MOST cases if you get the door to us by 9.30am, we can have the glass replaced, and your door ready to be collected again by around 4pm that same afternoon. We can also add new insulating rope and tape etc if required. *Specialty glass orders - bay windows etc - can take 2-3 days. Please come and see Noel if you need any assistance with door and/or wood heater maintenance

15.01.2022 Well its that time of the year again, where we need to start thinking about our winter heating needs. Heres a few checkpoints to go over, to ensure your wood heater is in tip top shape, ready to get you through those cold winter months. Noel has over 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge, and he can assist you with all your heating needs. We also supply parts and accessories for most wood and gas log fires. We have new stock now in store, with more to start rolli...ng in over the coming weeks. ALSO, SAVE THE DATE!! Due to massive popularity last year, we are again having Paul Reilly, National Sales Manager for Coonara, attend our in-store expo day on Friday April 13th. Call in for a cuppa and a chat with Paul and Noel, and no question will be left unanswered! Now heres those checkpoints: * Check baffle plate is not distorted or out of shape * Door seals: if these are not in good condition, your fire will burn too quickly, and increase your fuel cost * Check your flues for obstructions or holes etc and that it clear of debris, soot and residue * Replace any broken fire bricks * Check that the glass is the door has no chips or cracks * Check and clean fan to ensure its working to its full capacity Following these checkpoints will ensure that when the cold weather hits, all you need to do is light your fire and know that youre safe and warm all winter long.

Check your glass door, rope seals, flue (no soot build up or birds nests etc), and check outside of flue for any cracks or holes etc. We have parts and accessories for most Australian made wood heaters, and if we don't have it in-store, we can usually get it in for you. ... We can also (most times) replace broken glass in doors and rope seal on the same day, or at the latest, the next day. If you get your glass to us by 9.15am, more often than not, we'll have it ready for you to collect that afternoon. There isn't much Noel doesn't know about wood heaters, so if you need any advice and parts for your existing heater or you are wanting to purchase a new one, he's the man to see. Occasionally we also have second heaters available, and these are 'first in best dressed' so come by and see what's available.

05.01.2022 Re: COVID 19 We would just like to let all our customers know that YES, WE ARE OPEN and trading as usual .... for now. With things changing rapidly, and new l...aws being put in place to protect us all, we, along with everyone else, has no idea what will happen from one day to the next. We have been disinfecting and sanitising all common touch surfaces VERY frequently throughout the day, and doing all we can to help you and us, to stay healthy. However, as mentioned, we dont know what tomorrow may bring so we strongly suggest, especially with winter quickly approaching, that you dont leave it until too late to come and buy parts for your wood heaters. Be that rope, glass door replacements, glue, paint, cement, flue etc. Please everybody stay safe, be kind to one another, look out for each other, help those less fortunate if you can, reach out to the elderly and vulnerable, and lets kick this virus out of our country, and hopefully get back to normal in the months to come.
