25.01.2022 A timely and appropriate reminder in these unsettling days is that the Aim of the Country Women's Association of WA is "to improve the well being of all people, especially those in country areas by promoting courtesy, co-operation, community effort, ethical standards and the wise use of resources."



25.01.2022 The April meeting for the Morawa CWA is on this Wednesday 17th April at 9.30am at the CWA Rooms in Dreghorn Street. All ladies welcome!

22.01.2022 The Morawa CWA ladies travelled to Coalseam Conservation Park near Mingenew for the September meeting. Although there were only 4 members for the meeting, we were joined by 3 other ladies and one husband for the picnic / bbq lunch. We enjoyed checking out the riverbed, mine, lookouts and finding the tiny marine fossils. A lovely day out. Thanks everyone!

21.01.2022 Come along on Wednesday 22nd January to Morawa CWA at 9:00am and join the CWA Morawa ladies make emergency toiletry bags, operation bears, feely hearts, for distribution to hospitals, shelters and homeless. This is also a day to learn basic sewing skills (hand and machine) to make these essential items. Scones, tea/coffee available for gold coin donation to CWA Morawa. BYO lunch. Please reply yes if attending.

17.01.2022 CWA Morawa AGM will be held on held on Wednesday 20th March @9:30 am followed by General Meeting. Bring and share lunch followed by craft and Repair and Wear - bring along garments that need a new button, a hem to be taken up, a hole patched, general mending and the ladies will show you how. All welcome to come along as CWAs purpose is Uniting women and strengthening our communities through friendship, education, service and advocacy 2019 is about Embracing Diversity, Working as One.

16.01.2022 The Morawa CWA was pleased to donate the Service Awards to Primary students at the 2019 Morawa DHS Presentation Ceremony on 13 December at the Morawa Town Hall. Branch President Helen Walter presented the students with their book prizes. Congratulations Jamie Cosgrove who received the Year 6 CWA Service Award.

12.01.2022 Productive morning by CWA Morawa ladies making operation dolls, feelie hearts and emergency toiletry bags for distribution to hospitals, shelters and homeless.

12.01.2022 Members gathered after the meeting today for a bring and share lunch. As the CWA Country of Study is Papua & New Guinea, our International Officer Julie baked and brought along a Banana Cake Papuan Style which is a banana cake with a chocolate / coffee / coconut milk sauce. Delicious!!
