25.01.2022 Hello CACTers, We have a potential new member who is keen to try ski racing this weekend. He is from Canberra and is approx 6ft1in, 90kg, with a Size 11 hoof, and an XL head. I've got the wetsuit covered, can anyone assist with the loan of an XL helmet and social class ski that will accommodate a Size 11? Thanks Benny

24.01.2022 Hello County ACT members, Unfortunately we have to reschedule PS1 at Wyangala to the 12-13th October because RMS have advised they do not have a Boating Safety Officer available to attend our planned event on the 19-20th Oct. Sorry for the late change: I hope this does not prevent anyone from attending. In other news the boat shed at Wyangala has been repaired and is ready for all of the boats and equipment to go back in. 22.01.2022 Hello CACT members, Unfortunately we don't have the competitor and helper numbers for either the 9-10th Nov or the 30th Nov - 1st Dec to reschedule PS1. If everyone was available on the one weekend we are good to go but sadly that is not the case. PS1 is now officially cancelled and we look forward to seeing you all at Wyangala for PS2 on the 14-15th Dec for: (1) Racing (2) Novelty Events... (3) A meeting to discuss the format and venues for the 2020 part of the season (4) Club Christmas Party In some better news we have a newly modified weights trailer that now carries everything required to set a course at Wyangala. 06.01.2022 Hi CACTers, whilst I am still going through the red tape wringer we are looking good for Lake Lyell, Lithgow on the 4-5th April. Lock it in for some long overdue club ski racing action. Big congratulations to all of our club members, big & small, on some fantastic results at the Southern 80: Gold Medal effort for Mat Arnall and Team ORSM; that's just plain fast on a silly stick! 1st in Super Social and 2nd in U/L Inboard Social by only 29/100ths.... Thumbs up Stump and Team Tempered for a cracking 4th Outright. Full House of medals for Kye Fraser who with Jared, Brad, and Jake grabbed 2nd in U/L Outboard Social & 1st in U/L Outboard Expert with Pumped Up, and was the first outboard home with 3rd in Super Social with Darren, Brandon, & Mitch and the mighty Speed Lab. Cheers to Ian, Cam, George, & Mat with a very solid 3rd in Sportmans with Primevil. Congrats to the Tim, Rebecca, Zac, & Matt for a very close 3rd in Weekend Warrior with Pink Stuff. Spot-on skiing by Abbey-Kate behind Against the Grain to nab a 3rd place finish in U10 Girls. And a big shout-out to Henry Arnall & Libby Evans for great efforts in their U10s races. Cheers Benny
