24.01.2022 Poisons information line 13 11 26. The children at Goomalling Primary School have been learning about safety with medications. Reid has been learning about Keep out of reach of children warning signs and the importance of recognising medication labels. Child safety locks are often annoying and often adult proof as well, but they play a very important role in keeping children safe at home. Parents need to be aware of what medicines are left luring around as many tablets do... look like lollies. All parents should have the poisons hotline number saved in their phone in case of emergencies. 13 11 26, is the number to call for accidental medication over doses or taking the incorrect medications (children or adults). Even if you think your children may have taken something but are not sure, call them. 13 11 26 - save it in your phone, you never know when you will need it.

19.01.2022 In these time of chaos when all we want is quick answers, patience and time are the last things we think we have. It is difficult, but what we are called to do (and forced to) is patiently wait for the answers we want. Rest assured the answers are coming though. 5G NOT related to Covid-19: While we have been waiting, we have come to learn that 5G is NOT the cause of Covid-19... as lovely as it would be to blame a big corporation and as easy as that fix would be. Covid-19 is ...still spreading in many countries that do not have 5G at all. We know that viruses cannot travel on radio waves or mobile networks. Additionally we have managed to flatten the curve with social distancing and good hand hygiene. Rates of infection would not be slowing with people staying at home if this was related to 5G networks. This is a viral infection we are talking about, no more no less. But rest assured 5G networks are being monitored by the World Health Organisation. https://www.who.int//q-a-det/5g-mobile-networks-and-health Medication testing: It is often hard to accept that the medication cures we are hearing about have risks that may make it not worth trialling. It is difficult to wait for the answers we want. We have to understand that the medications we are talking about have significant risks, including cardiovascular risk. While there is so much information we need to know, including dosing (the dose for malaria does not mean the same dose is suitable for Covid- if its suitable at all) and safety that we cannot rush into. You need to remember that 80% of people who are infected with Covid are experiencing very mild symptoms. This needs to be weighed up against medications with very well known risks, which we are wanting to use for a condition with no known benefits. For a GP to go rogue with off label uses of medications outside the boundaries of a clinical trial, it would undermine the whole process of the clinical trials that are occurring. This potentially puts patients at risk and reduces the validity of those clinical trials, which need larger numbers to be of larger significance. Rest assured, the clinical trials are definitely happening. Unfortunately patience is what is required. Social distancing and good hand hygiene are working very successfully, provided we all continue to do it. My dad has decided to renovate an old Land Rover he has managed to get his hands on. His progress so far is in the photos.... He is looking for a number of spare parts including: Distributor Oil filler funnel Rear cross member Rims Alternator. Does anyone happen to have or know of someone who has an old series 2 landrover which dad could strip and buy parts? Any help would be much appreciated.

They are top of the range so quite expensive, but if you are looking for a top quality thermometer or are looking at doing regular temperature checks these would be excellent. $399.95 for the thermometer and charging station. For now its all I have, I am still trying to get my hands on all other types of thermometers which will be in a more reasonable price range for household use, but no luck yet.
