23.01.2022 Hi all due to the increasing number of new poultry owners and lack of bio-security in our area, we are faced with many outbreaks of poultry diseases in backyards. To address this concern, we are now vaccinating all of our chickens for Mareks disease. This will ensure the health of our stock and give confidence to our customers. Mareks is a highly contagious virus that predominantly affects chickens. The main Indicators of mareks may include paralysis of legs, wings and neck. If you identify these issues with your birds you should seek further advice from your veterinary clinic or other knowledgeable poultry experts, avoiding contaminating any other poultry.
