Our golfers have been out and about playing in events at other courses with the ladies having success at Clifton Springs Golf Club in the 4BBB Stableford Golden Putter. Di Wallace and Liz Marsland were the winners on the day and won a Golden Putter each. It is very exciting as Liz is a new golfer and this is her first major win. Amazing!

09.01.2022 Talk about a hole in one! There was great excitement at the Bellarine Lakes Resort Golf Club this month when we heard the news that Julie Fraser had won the B Grade J.K. Russell Championship at Buninyong, with a good score on a hilly course of 37 points. Julie is a keen golfer with an impressive past record in pennant and club competitions, and we are fortunate to have her representing our golf club, along with our other ladies, at competitions around the district. Marg Llewellyn is our event co-ordinator for outside tournaments and does a great job in gathering representatives to participate, so thank you Marg. We have had our fair share of success for such a small club as can be seen in the trophy cabinet in the Bellarine Lakes Spike Bar. The men also do well at other tournaments so we are very proud of you all.
