I would not use the word ‘diet’ when I think back on the last 12 weeks, the meal plans have been flexible and the recipes use everyday ingredients and the fruit smoothies, YUMMO. The active sessions have been challenging and sweaty but so much fun, I never ever imagined I would enjoy a gym class but suddenly here I am in the process of becoming a member. The encouragement and support offered my our mentors, Nigel and Cass was unconditional and as a result we are all fitter, lighter and most importantly we are all healthier. It’s very satisfying to know that my whole family has been able to benefit from this program, making smarter food choices and spending more time being active. The group support in the active sessions and through the group Facebook page have been a great motivation and we have all inspired each other to achieve our best. For me, the 12 week challenge was just the beginning, it’s not a challenge for 12 weeks it’s a challenge for life. There are always going to be good days and bad days and it’s ok to stumble and fall, but it’s an amazing feeling to have the courage to get back up and keep walking, one small step at a time towards your goal, and I am so proud to say that I have that courage now thanks to Nigel, Cass and Karen. I am so excited for the next challenge!!!"
