17.01.2022 EP 25 TOMORROW! SAM CHAPMAN Sam Chapman is my guest for the 25th episode of the Country Footy Legends Podcast! Sam started his career with Camperdown and also played in a Geelong Falcons premiership before getting Rookie Listed to Geelong. After a few years on Geelong’s VFL list Sam then returned to Camperdown where he struck his 2nd knee injury and missed 12 months. Sam then returned from his knee injury to play with Newtown Chillwell in the GFL where he won a couple B&F’s... and was interleague representative on 4 occasions. Sam then went to London and won a premiership abroad with the West London Wildcats before returning back to Camperdown where he won a Maskell Medal and played under Peter Knights for the Vic Country team. In recent years Sam has played for Rokewood where he has also won another couple B&F’s. With such an illustrious career tomorrows episode is going to be huge. Camperdown Football Netball Club

We talk about how he only lasted 1 year in the system before returning to coach Caramut to a premiership whilst kicking a record 211 goals himself! Jason then went on to play 10 years for Koroit where he won a Maskell Medal and famously coached the 2003 premiership co...ming back from 8 goals down at half time. Jason then returned to the AFL environment this time as an Assistant Coach for Grant Thomas at St Kilda before becoming an AFL Executive under both Andrew Demetriou and Gillon McLachlan.
