23.01.2022 Bridestowe Lavender Farm Two weeks earlier to this photo taken the fields were vibrant purple. They said it was most likely the best crop yet. The second photo shows the harvest started and flowers have lost their vibrance.

23.01.2022 Cahill's is now known world wide for it's 'exciting' activities, whether it's a Croc attack or vehicles being washed off the crossing. The crowds give credence to it's notoriety. Cahill's is about 80klm from the ocean mouth and is is affected by tides. Had a couple of hours here and was rewarded nicely. These Crocs' are catching Mullet. Not bad considering this is winter for them, the Crocs, at present.... #cahillscrossing, See more

Some one had unwittingly throw a broken branch aside so they could park, but it landed on the entrance to the nest. 05.01.2022 As some may know I have been 'grounded' for the last fourteen months due to the loss of my 'big' toe due to the negligence associated to a simple medical procedure. It has affected my travel/photography adventures greatly. I have only had opportunity to visit a couple of events held in the local areas, where I could stay in one spot and not have to move about too much, nothing too exciting compared to the remote areas of Australia, chasing the wild life I really enjoy. I have been going thru some unprocessed shots a little at a time, so I will put up some of favourites from those shoots over the next couple of weeks. Here are just two to start from the Australian Championships held at Penrith White Water Stadium early this year - 2020.
