25.01.2022 Country Joe is on holiday in France, it’s been great fun looking for bargains along the way. Over here Antiques Shops are called Brocantes and the flea markets are huge!

25.01.2022 IT'S A TOUGH JOB... but somebody has to do it! This is an example of what 50 years of smoking can do to the contents of a house. A thick brown film of nicotine covered everything. Elbow grease and determination has brought them back to life, the image shows the uncleaned finds - you can see where I wiped the mirror with my finger!

25.01.2022 Update - Sold in less than 24 hours!! Check it out! The good old days of computer games, Donkey Kong Rocks!!

22.01.2022 MAJOR CAR BROCHURE FIND!! The picture below is a sample of some amazing early brochures I have just bought. Nearly all are from the 1930s, they are real artworks in their own right. Believe it or not they were destined for the recycling bin until I saved them!

21.01.2022 FLOOD SURVIVORS! In 2011 the entire town of Carisbrook (Vic) was flooded after days of heavy rain. The items below were submerged under almost a metre of water. Now, six years later still sitting in a pine trunk in a shed, I rescued them from being dragged off to the local dump. All cleaned and given a new lease on life, they are headed for Brick Lane Bazaar on Tuesday!

21.01.2022 Check it out! Just one of more than 30 cars recently discovered - all boxed, mint condition and never played with!

11.01.2022 Vintage Books Galore! Just arrived today, a great range of vintage Books dating from the early 1920s - 1950s. Bonzo is my favourite. The quality of artwork in these books is superb. As the saying goes They just don’t make ‘em like they used to.

10.01.2022 Found this extraordinary shop where the owner specialises in making whacky Industrial/Steampunk lamps. It's a real Aladdin's Cave!

10.01.2022 Melissa enjoying her new armchair purchase! For years she has been searching for a pair just like her Grandmother used to own. These are identical, even the upholstery is the same. Melissa is gong to restore the chairs and there is no doubt they are now with their rightful owner!

10.01.2022 A selection of Collectables headed to Country Joe's @ Brick Lane Bazaar this weekend!

09.01.2022 Mixing business with pleasure at Burleigh Heads!

05.01.2022 This little Teak record player is great. I had to play some Herb Alpert straight away! I am almost tempted to keep this one - it looks so good on the sideboard but it needs a new home....Tap the image to play the clip

02.01.2022 THIS IS YOUR CAPTAIN SPEAKING... A great vintage collection of Qantas Memorabilia touching down at Brick Lane Bazaar Sunday 18th March! It comes from a former employee who had the wisdom to keep these items spanning more than 35 years of our Aviation history. Great stuff.

01.01.2022 RETRO RADIO BONANZA! This is just a sample of over 30 different radios I purchased recently from a one person collection. There are some stand out ones like the red Kit Kat one, a hot orange Kreisler plus some great early Sony and Grundig models. All radios pictured are now for sale at Brick Lane Bazaar.

01.01.2022 AS THE DUST SETTLES after a day out buying I now have to clean the dust and dirt from some of my latest purchases! There are a few standout pieces, you can decide what they are... And as for the hot pink Olivetti Lettera 22? Well it's Pink, it's 1950s, it's Rare, it's a Beauty.
