14.01.2022 We are offering teledentistry appointments to all Victorian patients. We understand that many of our valued patients are worried about how they will access health care during this time. This is what we can provide via teledentistry: Advice on managing your condition Scripts for antibiotics, pain relief etc. which can be collected at your local pharmacy... Advice on whether urgent dental care is required or if treatment can be postponed until the border opens All you need is a phone for us to call you on. Pictures help so a mobile with camera is handy but not essential. Cost: $50 which can be claimed on private health insurance (item number 919) To book simply call us on 0887521313

07.01.2022 We are pretty excited about our new tech. This is an intraoral scanner. It creates a 3D digital image of the teeth by stitching together 100s of images in a matter of seconds. It’s simple and fast and will avoid the need to have moulds taken for some treatments like ceramics, crowns, night guards and whitening trays.

05.01.2022 We these healthy goals for 2021 from SA Health. You might assume it’s just no. we’re interested in but actually ALL these goals are good for your oral health . Let us explain: 1 fresh fruit and veg are great options to reduce the risk of decay. Fruit does contain sugar but of all the sweet options fruit is hands down the best. 2 physical activity reduces stress which reduces tooth grinding (bruxism). 3 see your doctor when you need to . Good general he...alth improves oral health and vice versa. 4 Health/screening tests . 6 monthly dental checks allow us to find problems early and focus on prevention instead of cure. Checkups always include an oral cancer check. 5 Sunscreen reduces the risk of cancer to the skin AND lips. Our oral cancer check includes checking your lips for lumps and bumps. 6&7 mental health breaks and sleep reduce stress which is a major cause of grinding and jaw issues. 8 drink more water . Water is the BEST option for your teeth. 9 Stop smoking it’s the main risk factor for gum disease (which can cause tooth loss) and oral cancer. Brush and floss your teeth . Remember that you only need to brush and floss the teeth you want to keep! Which healthy habit will you aim for in 2021? See more
