10.01.2022 A message from Kirsty Lee Akers Hi Country Rocks Supporters, It is with great disappointment, I must share with you, I will not be able to perform at Country Rocks in Bungendore on March 26, 2021. ... After the pain of COVID-19 lockdowns, and the long wait to get back to playing festivals, it is heartbreaking to make this kind of announcement. I have been looking forward to being part of this amazing line-up since it was announced. Country Rocks events are always great to be a part of whether you are an artist or a fan. I have had to make the tough decision to take a little time away from music, to focus on an opportunity in my personal life. I have dedicated myself to music since the age of 4, so I have not taken this decision lightly But don’t worry, I am healthy, and I will be back before you know it. I am exploring the opportunity to play at another Country Rocks event later in 2021 or 2022. After speaking with the festival organisers and letting them know the sad news, they have confirmed they have secured an amazing artist to add to the line-up and will make an announcement soon! Lastly, I really want to thank all of you who have purchased tickets! We as artists desperately need as many festivals back up and running as possible. But we can’t have festivals without you <3 We love every one of you who has grabbed your tickets to this awesome event. I encourage you to spread the word and bring your friends and family along. Help make the 2021 Country Rocks festival a huge success so we can all be part of it for many years to come! Love, Kirsty
