25.01.2022 We've been a bit quiet on the page of late, but don't think we haven't been busy behind the scenes, staff training is being complete by out staff keeping up to date with the latest food safety protocols and practices and I have been in contact with catering businesses worldwide to see what the "new normal' will be once we get back to celebrating life's special moments. At this stage all anybody can agree on is there are no self service options, no more grazing tables (I know ...very sad moment for us all), no more share plates and all buffets are served 100% by staff with social distancing measures to be kept in place. With most weddings and events we understand that the majority of guests are family and friends we class as family, but we still have to follow the guidelines and procedures for now. Hopefully by next year we will return to the style of sharing food as we know and love. Unfortunately with the new regulations it means we will have to put on more staff for each event and while I will try to absorb most of the cost personally to keep our prices as low as possible there will be a slight price increase until we can get back to normal. Everybody who is already booked and accepted the quotes for this year and next year I am going to cover the extra for you so no need to worry there. (including those of you who have had to cancel your wedding and still haven't changed the date yet, even if you did have a sneaky elopement, yeah you know who you are and we love it). We are so thankful for all of our clients and looking forward to being there for your special events in 2021, judging by the books so far 2021 will be our biggest year yet with bookings in January. February, March, April, May, July, September October, November and December booked already. Anyway, looking forward to a brighter future and seeing and meeting so many wonderful people. As for this year our next booking is 26th of September and praying it will be a go ahead for the wonderful couple that we are looking forward to serving. Talk to ya'll soon Sally See more

23.01.2022 Hi Everybody, Well here it is, our official Covid-19 message/stance that everybody has been waiting for...... Regardless of your personal feelings regarding how it is all unraveling, it is going to effect us all in some way or another.... Yes times are changing and it is effectively making it harder and harder for people to gather to celebrate life's special moments, birthdays, baby showers, engagements and weddings just to name a few, not to mention corporate gatherings and office luncheons. I have been trying to keep up with the almost daily changes being put forward by the Australian government advisory board and also following what has been happening in the hospitality industry in the UK, Canada and US (where i have friends and Family who work in food and hospitality). So here is what it means (as of 20/03/2020) there is a 1 person per 4mt sq limit for indoor gatherings which mean if you have a 400mt sq indoor space you can essentially have 100 people but that number must include all staff/employees. (both outdoor gatherings and indoor), but the recommendations are for no more than 50 people for indoor gatherings. The link for more information on this is attached below. What it means for us as caterers: No more grazing tables, and share plates/platters, no more banquet style meals (where share plates are placed in the centre of the table for everybody to help themselves). No more self service buffet (although our staff have always served our hot buffet meals to clients, more restrictions have been put in place here), this means our salads and salad bars now come under the no self service rules. It also means no more platters to be shared among guests with appetizer/finger food on them, no more table water or self service water/drink station. All of these things listed above are no longer an option until further notice. NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS We have already come up with some pretty awesome ideas to still provide the excellent food and menu options we already supply, with a quirky/fun difference. We will continue to follow our exceptional food safety and hygiene standards and continue to keep up to date with food and safety guidelines passed on to us. We have had 3 weddings cancel/postpone till later in the year, early next year already, and have been fielding calls and emails from others considering doing the same thing. We already had 7 bookings for 2021 before all of this started and the dates are filling up. We are 100% committed to helping you make your catering plans easy for you and will work with you as best we can, but be aware the date you wish to change to may already be taken. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. Kind regards Sally https://www.health.gov.au//coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for

18.01.2022 To all of you who joined us (at your own mail box) this morning for dawn service. Hope you all enjoy remembering family loved and lost today and everyday.

17.01.2022 Some really ordinary photos of food, (as per usual, one day I might even take a lesson in taking photos) Kiwi style. Busy week last week, 3 days of wedding celebrations followed by 2 more days with the wedding party. Enjoying a relaxing wind down this week and will be back to work in Warwick on Monday, catching up on all the jobs put off for a little while.

14.01.2022 Honesty stall at the gate! local producers with fantastic product! (also nice little drive to get out of the house and pick up some food without going to the supermarket)

14.01.2022 All our clients getting married this year and next who haven’t found a makeup artist yet. Please head over and check Katrina out.

14.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone. Here’s looking toward a brighter future.

11.01.2022 HI everybody, I'm absolutely overwhelmed by the response to the changes to weddings and life as we know it, everybody has been so great in helping us find dates to reschedule and fit you in where we can, 2021 was already looking to be a pretty big year for us and now with all of the date changes and new enquirers my husband has had to come and look for a date to book a family weekend away. Anybody still waiting to hear from me, please drop a line as you may have been lost in ...all of the paperwork we have been doing. Those of you who have been sitting on the fence waiting to see what happens we still have 1 weekend in November and 2 in December this year left available, September, and October are fully booked out. (we don't start back till September). In the meantime, my entire staff have been refreshing their food safety qualifications with all of the new Covid-19 regulations and the number of new and exciting menu options we have been test trialing is enormous. Looking forward to meeting new people and working with long time customers. although we Wont get to do our yearly Jumpers and Jazz engagements, we hope that you will consider a trip to Warwick to see what some of our fine cafes and restaurants have to offer. Little Gallery Cafe, BellevueCafè, Warwick's Gardens Galore, Warwick Hotel, The Weeping Mulberry See more

09.01.2022 Back in service for a very short amount of time, have remembered to take photos of a few things, but missed a lot. I will be catching up with everybody who have made enquires as soon as I can. Sally

09.01.2022 Hi everybody, We are back and back in the office, I have noticed I have been getting some inquires while we have been away and I have been answering but not receiving a reply. I'm not sure if this is yet another Facebook glitch or not? I did post last year about Facebook changing messenger around on me and making it impossible for me to access this pages messages without logging into Facebook first, well that seemed to get fixed up but after the latest update we seem to hav...e reverted back to that stupid (in my opinion) system which is making it harder to just get back to each person quickly. I'm going to see what I can do but in the meantime bear with me. If you have messaged and not received a reply please check to see if its been moved so another folder. or just send us an email to [email protected] in the mean time, busy getting back on track and filing away new quotes and other business things. If you want to get in touch please feel free and we can get on to making a menu to suit your special occasion. See more

09.01.2022 Little something I found from a local invitation designer. Be handy for those of our clients who we’ve been working with on change of dates. We thought 2020 was going to be busy but by the looks of it 2021 is going to be flat out. Head on over and Check them out.
