16.01.2022 Have you been to the Lancelin lookout? Stunning views like this can be seen on a regular basis up there. With the ocean to the west and dunes to the east, it's a viewer’s delight. An added bonus is that the Lancelin Beach Hotel is only 100m or so away, so you can enjoy a nice meal while you’re there!... Sitting at the far north end of town, the lookout was upgraded in June 2018 and is accessible to all with a ramp on the north and staircase on the south. It's well worth a visit next time you’re in town! 08.01.2022 The best kind of footprint on the Earth Can you guess what native animal made this footprint? We'll give you a hint. It has the appearance of a bush..... with legs. ... The pinnacles are located in Nambung National Park 59 minutes drive from Lancelin. These are amazing natural limestone structures formed approximately 25,000 to 30,000 years ago after the sea receded and left deposits of sea shells. Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand, leaving the pillars exposed to the elements. The Pinnacles range in height and dimension - some stand as high as 3.5m! They are definitely worth a short road-trip to see and you might even get to spot some native wildlife while your there!
