24.01.2022 Worksafe Club Safety Grants are open, so if your club shares facilities with a football club and wants to apply for any of the funding areas - Funding Categories Funding is available for safety initiatives including, but not limited to: Equipment to be purchased by the Club that has the purpose of protecting the individual participants while actively engaged in the sport. (i.e. goal post padding, first aid kids, defibrillators) Permanent or portable structures that prov...ide shelter and or safety. (i.e. behind goal netting, shelter shed, shade sails, fireplace guards, fencing for walkways) Minor facility maintenance which presents an occupational health and safety hazard. 18.01.2022 Whilst we may not have had hockey much this year, we should look forward towards next season. Will you need new uniforms, First Aid equipment, other training gear. Well look at the latest Sporting Club Grants Program as an option. This round is currently open. Closes on Sept 29th so plenty of time to apply. The Charlton Park Oval project which will see installation of lighting for the hockey pitch, tennis courts and the oval.

11.01.2022 Who else would normally be packing for this weekend. First weekend home for the Queens Birthday in about 25 years. Seems odd but we know it is for the best for the moment. To everyone please continue to take care we want to see all next year. 09.01.2022 With many clubs and association having already applied for the Sports Survival Grants program, Approx 60% of hockey clubs across Victoria well done. But I must ask what about the remaining 40% that is 1 in every three clubs across the state. That is too many not to have applied, if your club has not (please check if they have) then ask why not.
