16.01.2022 An Important Message from the Board It is with regret that the Board of the Society along with the National Show Committee, announce the cancellation of the 202...0 National Show that was due to take place in Tamworth AELEC from 9th to 13th September. We know this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to our competitors, exhibitors and sponsors but to our many Members in general who have enjoyed attending our National Show over many years. This is a decision made at the Board Meeting on the 9th & 10th June and was not taken lightly. There are two overriding concerns that have caused us to make this decision at this time. First, is the uncertainty caused by the fact of the unknown health restrictions with COVID 19 that could be in place, in early September at AELEC and the possible health regulations and rules around running a major event at this time. Nominations would need to open in early July and with this in mind, we did not want to be cancelling the event at a later date should the situation change in the next few months. The Board also felt the option of moving to a later date again, could possibly clash with other Branch Shows and events which they wanted to avoid. Second, is our primary concern and the responsibility we have to our Members and the financial implications on the Show recording a substantial loss given the many uncertain factors to producing a successful event. We are currently confirming the dates for the 2021 National Show and hope to be able to release these soon to all Members. In order to accommodate the Futurity and Maturity classes and the Fountain of Youth Sale that will not take place this year, the Board is considering running two, three, four and five year old classes for the Triple Crown and a yearling, two and three old FOY Sale next year. Further information will be advised as we develop a program for 2021.

16.01.2022 We encourage you to have your say in our current about our upcoming Branch Show.

We are excited to announce the winners & place getters in our Junior & Juvenile Virtual Challenges. Results sheets and ribbons will be sent out to all the competitors and congratulations to all!

12.01.2022 Dear Members It is with great regret that the 2020 Youth National Committee in conjunction with the Victorian Management Council and the National Board is annou...ncing the cancellation of the 2020 Youth National Show. The committee with the full support of the board considered all options from progressing with the original dates, to postponing until the next school holidays and then as a last resort cancelling the event. With COVID restrictions and requirements being extremely fluid, the committee felt the responsible action was to cancel the event. The event was starting to take shape tremendously, with the venue working to upgrade the Campdraft arena and was expanding the stabling capacity at site in time for the event. Unsolicited sponsorship and support was flooding in with over half of the sponsorship slots already filled. We would like to thank all the sponsors, judges, volunteers and members that had already offered support to this event and we look forward to the 2021 50th Anniversary event to be held at White Park in Scone. Yours in Trust David Nash Chairperson Victorian Management Council

12.01.2022 Its not just businesses that support our local show, we thank our members, families and ASH Studs that make these events (and great prizes) possible. Thank you!
