25.01.2022 What's eating you up this week? Whilst it's said we can't overcome fear, but we certainly can reduce the impact it has on us by addressing it. Our fear response often leads us to either confront or escape, running for the hills. The fear of failure can be so great, that it impacts us in disguise within every aspect of our life. Personally I’ve definitely been known to run for the hills! It’s often been my go to self-preservation tool, but it also means that sometimes I d...on’t stick around long enough, to understand that people have put me in particular situations because they truly believe in me. The missing piece of the puzzle is believing in myself and figuring out how I can work through situations, by reducing the impact fear has on me (anxiety and anger). 06.01.2022 Well 2020 has been a challenge to say the least!! I’ve just finished delivering a massive statewide project to improve the safety of children in Australia. 04.01.2022 Whatever it is that you’re juggling, kids, work, relationships, life.. don’t let thoughts of failure override all that your incredibly good at. It is truly exhausting juggling everything, but what I’ve learnt and am still learning is that it’s all about how we look at failure and what weight we apply to successes, if we spend too much time over thinking all that isn’t going so well, we completely lose focus on the things that we are actually achieving and that are great in o...ur lives. You see we achieve things every day, sometimes they are monumental and sometimes they are very small, sometimes it’s the smile you miss that slips across your child’s face when they think of you, you see they love us unconditionally (especially when they are small) and the best thing is they love us for just being Mum or Dad, why can’t we just love ourselves for just being US. We will ALWAYS have failures big, small or otherwise, they will never go away they will just evolve and change, but we will also ALWAYS have successes to and if you’re not careful you’ll miss these treasures. What we can change is how we think about failure and success!! Take some time out to appreciate all the little things that you succeed at every day (cuddles/kisses/LOVE).
