In a time when a lot of people were feeling uncertain about the future, he was resolute and so excited to create this beautiful piece. He told me that to him, his partner was like the Milky Way, free and shining brightly. He wanted to convey this and her love of travel in this ring. He felt strongly about using mostly Australian gemstones, so we found this incredible 2.09ct pa...rti sapphire from Rubyvale, Qld to represent the brightest star in the centre. This parti sapphire has the incredible band of teal blue flashing throughout the centre, and this lent itself to the design, with the colours of the different gemstones in the ring flashing across the band in a constellation. .
