20.01.2022 Big day today, left home early this morning with both trucks up to Orbost. Stopped at Nowa Nowa for lunch on the way back. Loaded all the calves onto the big truck to take them to Cranbourne. Just passed through the Covid checkpoint at Nar Nar Goon on our way home.

12.01.2022 Had a big day up at Orbost today on the calf run. Over 200 calves for the day. We took up my truck and the Scania with a hired trailer(Thanks to Bates Ag) and a Ute and trailer. Thank you to Martie & Noel for towing the trailer and also to Michael Bennett for helping Mick in the Scania. It poured rain most of the day and it was freezing but we got it all done.

11.01.2022 A big thank you to my dad (Lindsay Ross) for making the middle pole in my truck removable, it now hinges up out of the way to make one long 20ft pen. Makes it a lot easier to cart the bigger cows. Thanks Dad

07.01.2022 Just a quick shout out to my amazing wife Fiona. You really are an amazing woman who can do anything you put your mind too. Truck driving, water delivering, lawn mowing, milking cows, feeding calves, carting cattle, carting hay etc etc but most of all looking after all of us. I know we have been burning the candle at both ends lately but I promise it'll all be worth it. You are the other half that makes me whole. Our business wouldn't be where it is now without you. I love and appreciate you immensely. Hold your head up high and be proud of yourself and what you've achieved so far. You are a very capable lady who can do more than most. Be proud of that xoxo. I am very proud of you and I'm not the only one I'd be lost without you

07.01.2022 Always doing something different here at Courtney Cartage. Late yesterday afternoon we loaded our tray truck with plants to go to Mallacoota for the fire recovery to help people re-establish their gardens after the fires. This idea was instigated by Dianne Feenstra from Toongabbie and was supported and fine tuned by the Wellington/Latrobe Lions Club. We we're contacted by Peter from the Lions Club and asked to give a quote to transport the plants. Naturally we sharpened our ...pen and offered the absolute best price we could for such a great cause. The plants covered the floor and the front half for the top deck. This morning Martie and l left at 6 to head to Mallacoota, got there at 11. Had help to unload, had lunch then headed home. Thank you to Martie for coming with me today and supplying lunch and to Martie, Noel, Peter & Dianne for helping load the plants last night. Courtney Cartage were honored to be involved in this project. Congratulations to everyone who grew plants to make it the huge success it was. We appreciate your business

04.01.2022 Another big day today here at Courtney Cartage. This morning we had a load of cows to do locally. Then after lunch we head to Yarragon to load 4 belted galloways (what a beautiful view from up in the hills behind Yarragon) and deliver them to Willung.

02.01.2022 Silage on.... Silage off. 60 Bales of silage carted this afternoon. The customer asked if we could use our tractor to load the bales. No problem at all here at #courtneycartage. The old David Brown loved it .

02.01.2022 Today Molly and l had a job in Sale. We had to remove a pile of weeds and cut some branches off a tree. The customer was very pleased with the job we did It also adds to our donation money for the kids.
