24.01.2022 A huge congratulations to our dear friends Jace and Jade who tied the knot @thelanevineyard this weekend! It was SUCH a joy being able to get you two married and then to hit the dance floor together too! Lovely working with @_theivorystory who took this GORGEOUS shot of their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Wright. That mist hanging over the valley of vines was too beautiful. Thanks @thelanevineyard for spoiling us all with the most amazing hospitality, you made the day so special for these two Xx
22.01.2022 HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU’VE FOUND THE ONE? How will you know if you’ve really clicked? That the feeling is mutual and you’ve fallen hard? When it comes to finding the perfect wedding suppliers for you and your love, it’s like with anything else... you’ll just know. ... Evidence that I may have fallen just a wee bit hard for @jess_battams and @michael_gibson... Captured taking my professional third wheel duties very seriously @waverley.estate Thanks for sending through these cute pics my friends!! And thanks to @georgykeenphotography for capturing some of my favourite moments to date xoxo
22.01.2022 These two lovers scored a good old fashioned tie up by yours truly! Jordan’s sister Maddy chose a beautiful reading that was crying out for a #handfasting so I decided to sneak one in just after the ring exchange. I don’t pull surprises on many couples, but Clare and Jordan are always up for a good time so I knew they’d embrace the surprise and have fun with it! This gorg red cord added a sexy modern vibe to the ritual and now makes a sweet little memento for me to package up... their ceremony script, vow card and wedding certificate. Congrats lovers! That was SUCH a blast! Can’t wait to see everything captured by the A Team @jacquij.wedding @rhiannonmillervideo at stunning @lloyd.brothers. I don’t want to leaaaave!! Xx
22.01.2022 I don’t want to be a diva about this, but there should always be lollies and mystery shots on the signing table at any future weddings
19.01.2022 Hottest kiss of the year, newlywed category, goes to...... Meagan and Leigh xo @aldingasecretgarden, captured by the delightful @sutton_pro
17.01.2022 Recently I have had the absolute pleasure of working with the super talented @beccapurso on a business rebrand! She asked all the right questions to help create something that was so much more my style than what I had been using when I first started hitching lovers a few years back. A client of mine recommended Bec to me after she helped with the beautiful branding for her store @theclosetcollective.hire I loved working with a local graphic designer and found the whole proce...ss to be so collaborative and fun. Thanks Bec for everything! I’ve been excited to use the logo and colour palette in my new website, which will have more and more of my couples faces to be added soon when this crazy season settles down. Feel free to take a peek friends, and kindly share with any lovers you may know who have recently gotten engaged! WildLoveStories.com.au xxx See more
17.01.2022 I gotta say, I love all of my couples, but these two are pretty bloody cute! So cute in fact, that when the rings weren’t on hand by the ceremony start time, myself and a friend in the crowd quickly and without question handed over our own wedding rings, put some extra love and good juju into them and we got on with getting these two hitched! It wasn’t until I was driving home that I remembered I never got it off Lisa at the end! Beautiful girl, I would give you diamonds any day of the week! Thank you for letting me make you two The Muzzies! Your little family is absolutely awesome and I adore you all. Wishing you lots of exciting adventures, cozy quiet moments, and happiness as you share your life together xoxo @two_tell_a_tale capturing all their cuteness so well!
14.01.2022 As we grow older and talk about our life adventures and biggest dreams, I will tell you that my biggest dream came true on this day. Because my biggest dream has been, is, and always will be, you. These two both had the most GORGEOUS vows I think I’ve ever heard, and there was not a dry eye in the house, myself included! Two completely divine people who married in style at one of the most glorious venues in Adelaide @ekhidnawines. Thank you Aimee and Mitch, I just adore y...ou two and loved every bit of our time together. Wishing you so much happiness in married life! Xx Loved my first time working with @flaviawatkins_photoandvideo and her amazing team. We had a blast working together to make the day every bit as awesome as it should be for these babes! Xx
14.01.2022 SWEET WORDS FROM PAST LOVERS Courtney you are amazing! We had the best day and our ceremony was perfect! I think each and every one of our guests made a comment to us about how beautiful the ceremony was, and Jarrod’s Victorian family members and friends said it was so lovely to hear more about our story! We can’t thank you enough for the incredible job you have done for us So nice to start the day with a cute message from Arielle and Jarrod, who woke up super married to...day. I love when couples get in touch the day after, when they’re riding that big We just got hitched high! Huge congrats again, legends!! Xx @jnnings and @charlesworthmedia @vineshedvenuemclarenvale
12.01.2022 TREE LOVE @burbrookforest is now officially my happy place.
11.01.2022 I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close. ~Pablo Neruda (Cien Sonetos de Amor) @katherineschultzphotography
09.01.2022 Last wedding for 2020! Cathy and Liam were married today in beautiful Veale Gardens with just their family and a handful of friends. It was just as they wanted it to be... super simple, elegant and focussed on the love rather than all the fuss. Completely gorgeous! Moments before walking down the aisle this little cutie decided she wasn’t having a bar of her mama walking without her, so she nooked in and off they went. Love how Cathy prioritised her little one’s happiness an...d just got on with gliding down that aisle. After all, like I always tell my couples, your wedding day isn’t a performance, it’s real life so just be yourselves and enjoy the moment. Liam and Cathy really know how to focus on what is important, which to me has been the great lesson this year has had to teach. Wishing them every happiness in married life! Xoxo I have only one ceremony left for the year, a magical vow renewal for a friend and her husband at their amazing property in Cherryville. We’ll begin the ceremony at sunrise, sitting on the deck enjoying the view. I can’t wait to help them celebrate 20 years together!! This week has been huge, with 2 weddings and performing my first ever funeral. Feeling a little weary this afternoon but feeling very blessed to be a part of such important days in peoples lives. It was SUCH an honour to have been asked to create a ceremony that was a true celebration of Lorraine’s life. She was a vibrant and wonderful human being and a total character. Lorraine was so special to her family (and anyone who knew her!) so it was really important to me that the ceremony did her justice. I have to say it’s one of the most difficult but proudest days of my working life, it really was a beautiful celebration. Love to Michael, Mel, Courts, Matthew, Tahlia and all of the family. They did such an amazing job with their gorgeous tributes, sharing so many wonderful stories. Nan/Kelly/Lorraine/Mum would be so incredibly proud. By all accounts, had she had the opportunity, she would have told all of Adelaide -including every checkout operator she saw- how amazing you all were! So much love and my heartfelt condolences to you all Xoxo
09.01.2022 On a lighter note, who else is wishing they were sharing a cheeky kiss in a room full of wine tonight?
08.01.2022 Be present, from moment to moment, right in the middle of the real stream of time. - Dainin Katagiri on cultivating mindfulness for spiritual security. During times of uncertainty, the busy mind can create additional suffering. Thought I’d share the following in case anyone finds it useful! I find these two mindfulness exercises particularly helpful when I’m laying in bed at night ruminating about something, but really they can be used at any time of day to help calm the m...ind. Exercise 1: Focus on the breath. No need to change the breath in any way, just notice what’s happening. Notice it’s pattern. It’s speed. It’s depth. The sound. Is it cool or warm? Imagine it’s pathway through your body. Exercise 2: Grounding technique. This technique helps you to ground yourself firmly in the here and now, and settles the busy monkey mind by giving it a job to do. In your your head, list off 5 things you can see (curtain, sheet, water bottle, door handle, shirt), 5 things you can hear (car, bird, husband whistling, water splashing, baby breathing), and 5 things you can feel (heart beating in chest, baby’s breath on my skin, feet resting on hard floor, breath moving through nostrils, warm tea cup in my hand). x5 SEE... x5 HEAR... x5 FEEL... In that order. ........ We can’t stop life from throwing us challenge and change. All we can do is work on remaining present to reduce our suffering, and look after ourselves and each other. Check on your friends, family, and members of your community who might be struggling at the moment. Sending so much love and big calming vibes to all of my couples and my awesome community. This too shall pass xx
07.01.2022 If you’re on the hunt for a song to enter to, look no further. Ja Ja Ding Dong from Will Ferrel’s #Eurovision movie was a total VIBE! As was their whole backyard ceremony this morning. After their brunchy garden party, they headed with the crew to do an escape room challenge... because how else do you celebrate getting married?! So much love for you Jo and Jacob!! I’m going to be totally lame and say I miss hanging with you guys already! Xoxo
07.01.2022 I’ll forever be in GOOSEBUMP CITY when I hear I get to love you by @ruellemusic after this couple’s big day. Watching Jen and Jody walk down the aisle on Friday was one of those moments that will always be etched into my memory. There were mid aisle snuggles with their girls and tears of happiness all around. For that moment, it felt like all was right in the world. A huge congratulations to these two beautiful human beings and their family. I loved sharing this time with y...ou. Xo @teahousestudios was there for their heart achingly lovely ‘first look’ before they headed to the Zoo for their ceremony and celebrations. I can’t wait to see more! Xo
06.01.2022 Dream styling for a Halloween wedding! Or for any wedding really! Completely gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me at Hayley and Aaron’s Halloween wedding this afternoon! An awesome couple who are putting on an amazing backyard fiesta to celebrate. Can’t wait to marry you guys!! Xx Repost from @atelierobertosantos photo by @paulojuniorfilmes

04.01.2022 What I'm feeling, I think, is joy. This might be one of those rare events that lasts, one that'll be remembered and recalled as months and years, wind and ravel. One of those sweet, significant moments that leaves a footprint in your mind. A photograph couldn't ever tell its story.... One of those big exaggerated memories you can invoke at any moment to peel away a little layer of how you felt. Where things shift into focus for a moment, and everything makes sense. What I’m feeling, I think is love - Craig Silvey This delightful adaptation of an excerpt from the novel Jasper Jones was shared at Chris and Hayley’s wedding ceremony by his gorgeous sister Mel. Definitely a new favourite of mine! @katherineschultzphotography @longviewvineyard
03.01.2022 Story of a little love bubble
02.01.2022 Hayley and Aaron’s wedding was TOTALLY them and so great to be a part of. They walked down the aisle together (I absolutely love this, symbolic of them stepping into marriage as equals, common in Scandinavia and so nice!). They did shots in the ceremony, wore colours they felt amazing in, and made everyone there feel so special and a part of their story (even inviting their celebrant to be in their group photo and sending her home with a super cool stubby holder!). I walked away feeling like I’d married dear old friends of mine. Thanks Hayley and Aaron for giving me such good vibes at your gorgeous Halloween nups! Xoxo @cobiesinclairphotography so much fun working with you Cobie!! Xoxo
