01.01.2022 Say hello to my 5 year old (36 years old in dog years) fur baby Milo He likes whatever food your eating and licking my tears away when I am sad or upset. Anyone who knows me, knows I love every dog and all breeds, not just my fur babies and if I could be that crazy lady who owns all the dogs, if at all possible that would be me (my biggest dream, let’s be honest) ... I volunteer at a animal shelter, Second Chance Animal Rescue and since volunteering there which is coming up to 3 years now, I have learnt a couple spiritual lessons from dogs that have come from all walks of life. You see dogs are full of love, they have the ability to no matter what have unconditional love, no strings attached, they love you no matter what you are, what you look like, who you are, none of that matters to them. There is always room in their heart for you, even when some may not be so kind. They have the ability, to still love and forgive even when they have been abused, neglected and left for dead! They can still find room in their hearts to love unconditionally, to instantly forgive you and not hold a grudge against you something that we humans are still learning how to do. Some of us spend our entire life trying to let go, forgive and give unconditional love to others even those who have hurt us! Dogs can do this all in one day and to me that is incredible! Dogs do speak, but only to those who listen - Ohran Pamuk Dogs can teach us some of our greatest lessons in life, if we let them.
