19.01.2022 SEVERE WEATHER WARNING for DAMAGING WINDS For people in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula,... Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, North West Pastoral and parts of the Lower South East and North East Pastoral districts. Issued at 9:56 am Monday, 30 September 2013. A vigorous cold front is moving over South Australia today with an associated strong to gale force northerly jet stream ahead of the front. The front is expected to be near Nullarbor late morning, then extend to central districts early evening and eastern districts late evening. Strong to gale force northerly winds averaging 55-65 km/h with damaging gusts of 90-120 km/h are possible. The West Coast and North West Pastoral districts and the higher ground of the Mt Lofty and Flinders Ranges are expected to be affected from late morning, then extending to remaining parts of the area during the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms with gusts of 90-120 km/h are also possible in the warning area. Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Cleve, Port Augusta, Renmark, Ceduna, Maitland, Murray Bridge, Roxby Downs and Leigh Creek. 13.01.2022 Beautiful weather,here on the Eyre Peninsula. Yesterday was spent kayakiing, swimming and fishing, while enjoying a few bubbles. We are fully booked untill 28th January and fill up so fast this time of year, I have to book myself in for 10 days!!

11.01.2022 Hi all, we still have a vacancy for the last week of the July school holidays. We are family friendly with a large fully enclosed yard, basketball ring, WII, three large living areas and FIVE bedrooms.

07.01.2022 The shack has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 3 living areas. Sleeps 10 comfortably - Beds include: 2 QS, 1 DB,2 Single and a large Futon A fully enclosed yard with a large undercover entertainment area equiped with BBQ and large out door setting. There is sufficient room for you to store the trailer. There are two televisions, one downstairs with dvd player and set top box. The television upstairs... has a WII console. There are also some board games supplied. The kitchen is fully equiped with a microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The shack also has a fully equiped laundry - all you have to do is supply the washing powder and the laundry! All bedding and Linen (including tea towels and bath towels are supplied. But please suppy your own beach towels) The island is a truely beautiful and numerous beaches are within reach. If you have a boat, Ski Beach is the place to go. Just up the dirt road at the end of Pearson Street (left side if you look outside our front door) It is also a really nice beach for the kids. There is also a really long walk and we have been able to walk to Tumby Island in low tide. The normal rates in peak periods are as follows: $200 per night $1200 per 7 nights $500 bond refundable when you leave If you choose to stay with us the rate for 10 - 11 nights would be $1500 plus refundable bond. I have made this $150 per night with the 11 th night free. There are no additional fees. The Shack is very much a family focused holiday home and is DEFINATELY NOT A PARTY HOUSE. PLEASE NOTE THAT SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON THE GROUNDS. Pets are negotiable... There are still dates available in November and December but be quick as dates fill up fast during this beautiful time of year in the Eyre Peninsula. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance.

01.01.2022 GALE FORCE WINDS COMING TONIGHT A weather warning has been issued for people in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula,... Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Flinders, Mid North & parts of the Murraylands districts. Its says strong to gale force winds gusting up to 90-100 km/h and upwards will hit east of Port Lincoln, & the higher parts of the Flinders & Mount Lofty Ranges tonight Jamestown, Mount Barker & Mt Compass tonight. The damaging winds will then move eastwards reaching Adelaide mid to late morning. The State Emergency Service advises people should: Move vehicles under cover or away from trees; Secure or put away loose items around your property. Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe. Keep pets indoors/safe. For our friends living in these areas, and there are many, please stay safe. PLEASE SHARE!
