23.01.2022 Turn the wall socket for your power off before taking the side off your desktop. REMEMBER theres power in there. ELECTRICITY has habit of biting you on the ass when your not looking. It is always best to take your PC to a proffesional. Our service includes removing the CPU and reseating. Removing the CPU Cool Block and replaceing the Thermal Paste. Removing the RAM and cleaning the slots. Cleaning the fans and the PSU. Tuning up you Windows and giving you a plain english report. Give it some thought and bring it in. Cheers Richard.

16.01.2022 Here we go. Another day. Looking forward to what lifes mysteries will throw at us today.
13.01.2022 By now, there's a good bet that you or someone you know has been contacted by a scammer claiming to be from Microsoft or a similar company, advising that your computer is not functioning correctly; Be it with threats of viral infection, license expiration or just issues in general. Well, they’ve seemingly stepped up the ante as some of our customers have recently found out. On top of gaining remote access to your computer, they show you a fake anti-virus type alert displaying... a list of errors/issues/infections that don’t really exist, talk you into pressing various button combinations, download any number of compromised software and essentially replace important system files in a bid to force you to pay them money in order to get it fixed. After which, if you hang up, without paying their ransom, you’re left with a completely non-functional computer and irreparable data loss. We'd like to take this opportunity to once again advise, no one from Microsoft will ever call you without you requesting they do so, and even then, it's unlikely; also, you should keep a regular backup of any important data your computer may contain. Unfortunately, as a result of these ‘improvements’ to their strategy, many customers have lost large amounts of their data, with no chance of recovery.
12.01.2022 Happy New Year to all, we look forward to seeing you in the new year; even if it's just for a hello. We hope you all stayed safe and didn't overdo it last night and if you did, well, you're more than likely are feeling as though you should have now.
09.01.2022 Tip of the day: The dust and fluff that builds up in your PC is considered Dangerous Goods. You should get your PC physically cleaned out at least once a year. If you do it yourself then use a horse hair brush, keep the PC and yourself earthed and do not use your vacum cleaner. Aerosol air is available and your best option. Do not allow the fans to spin freely when cleaning.
08.01.2022 The wheels are in motion and, it's all rock and rolling; I even went through all the effort of scraping the extremely old stickers off the windows. 'Check in' with Foursquare, while visiting our store for the first time and, receive a 50% discount on your general computer service.

03.01.2022 For the Firefox users out there: unlike Mozilla's "Do Not Track" option, which relies on advertisers and behavioural tracking companies support. This add-on blocks all tracking code, most adverts (if not all), gives the option of a whitelist and generally, kicks more llama asses than Winamp. It categorises third-party elements, allowing you to select the particular types of '3pes' (3rd Party Elements) you want blocked, or their providers individually. When elements are blocke...d, they're replaced with an in-line button enabling you to allow items on a per-item basis. Blockable elements are stored in a database which is updated on a regular basis, so you need not maintain your own blacklist. Head on over to http://www.ghostery.com/ for more details.

01.01.2022 Have you noticed the new "Trending Videos", Facebook feature? Have you noticed the amount of garbage it displays? Well we've discovered you can infact prevent it from displaying on your news feed, simply by blocking the "Viddy" and "SocialCam" applications through your privacy settings. The first step it to enter the privacy configuration screen, through the down arrow at the top of the page.... Scroll to the bottom of the privacy page and select "Manage Blocking", then type the names of the afore mentioned apps into the "Block Apps" text field, pressing enter after each entry. Once these steps have been taken, the "Trending Videos" box should disappear from your news feed... That is, until they incorporate another application into it.
