10.01.2022 Ever wondered how your pumpkins and melons are picked? ... This is a quick insight into Bothkamp Australia and their new picking trailers. These trailers were built by Coventry Machine Works over 2018/2019. They are recycled from old Sugar Cane hauler trailers which were lengthened and adapted to be able to carry 12 melon bins at a time, which is roughly 6 tonne of fruit. These trailers pull in around 40 tonnes of fruit daily, which is roughly 10,000 pumpkins. With the help of these trailers, they provide an efficient way of getting fruit from the crops, to the shelves in the best quality as possible. Feel free to share.
