We would like to reassure you all that at this stage Australia Post remains fully operational across Australia during government restrictions on non-essential activity. Posties, delivery drivers and Post Offices will continue to operate.... Customers can be assured they will continue to be able to send and receive parcels and mail, pay bills and use Bank@Post during this time. 17.01.2022 The Cowell Wellbeing Group are going to be making a calendar of inspirational quotes for next year, and they need your help! They would love submissions by locals of original inspirational quotes by you, or choose your favourite quote by an author. Submissions need to be in by Monday 28th September. If you can't make it into the post office feel free to comment here and we will put your submission in for you!

17.01.2022 If you have had a text/email from Australia Post to say your delivery is coming today, we are sorry for the delay! We have had technical issues this morning but we are back up and running and will deliver your parcels before close of business today. Sorry if this has caused any inconvenience!

15.01.2022 PLEASE READ IF YOU GET PARCELS DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME To reduce the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the way we deliver your parcels is changing. We ask that you please read this so we can keep you and our delivery personnel safe and healthy! ... Please do not open your door if our delivery personnel come to your house If your parcel is eligible for 'Safe Drop', and there is a secure, safe place for it to be left, we will not knock. We will deliver it to the safe spot and take a photograph. This will eliminate any person-to-person contact. If there is no safe location, we will knock on your door. Please do not open your door- if we know you are behind the door we will ask if it is okay for us to leave the package at the door and you can collect it once we have left. We will also take a photograph where we place it. If you are not home and there is no safe spot, we will bring the parcel back to the post office and leave a collection card in your door. If your parcel requires a signature on delivery, we will knock on your door. Again, please do not open your door. We will sign the scanner to record that you are receiving the parcel. We will then place the item at your door and take a photograph. You can then collect the parcel once we have left. If nobody is home, we will put a collection card in your door. Our delivery personnel enjoy having a chat with our wonderful customers while delivering parcels, so hopefully business returns to normal soon so they can resume doing so! 13.01.2022 Hi all, we have had a lot of phone calls asking if we are staying open for the lockdown. We will be staying open, as we are an essential service. We ask that you please use hand sanitiser when you come in and we will be limiting the customers in store to 4 at a time. Deliveries will still be as normal. If you see our posties and delivery personnel please do not come outside! If your parcel requires a signature we will knock on the door, just let us know you're home by commun...icating through the door and we will leave the parcel at the door for you to collect once we are gone. 07.01.2022 Santa Mail 2020 We have our Santa Mailbox set up at the counter already! Christmas will be here before we know it, so bring the kids in over the next few weeks to write their letters to Santa on our free postcards! (Please note you will need to pay for a 65c Christmas stamp to post the letter). To ensure a response from Santa by Christmas, please have all letters posted by the 26th of November.
