19.01.2022 Two weeks to go. The 35's will go on their annual pilgrimage to Husky, the land of the demented seagull. Mine mine mine...who's? There is a couple of spots available if you would like to travel with us. I am cancelling any spare rooms at the motel on Wednesday so if you haven't booked do it soon.
19.01.2022 If anyone picked up a grey chair with a table on Sunday at the Cowra Tournament could you give me a call please. It was a gift by a blokes daughter. Thanks Fordy
19.01.2022 Goodaye all. It is only early but there are only 3 spots left in the sensational COWRA COUNTRY CUP O35S TOURNAMENT. It's open to all NSW country Masters teams so if you would like to bring your team get in ASAP. Fordy

18.01.2022 See you all again at our Carnival in 2021
17.01.2022 Any 35's out there wanting a game, the orange comp is needing a few players for this season. Dave and myself are playing. I think it is 3rd grade so even if you're under 35 there would be a spot.
17.01.2022 Ed the mudgee magician
16.01.2022 We could use a couple of players in Husky this weekend due to injuries. Anyone want a great couple of days away. Need to know asap.

15.01.2022 Off to wine country in a couple of weeks to wine and dine with the Mudgee Wolves....oh and play a bit of soccer. I hope all goes well for their first tournament. The Cowra/Husky team always enjoy themselves but never seem to worry the scorers too much. Enjoy ourselves TOO much me thinks. Blooding a couple of virgins this trip so this could be an interesting trip.
15.01.2022 Goodaye all. I got notification this morning that Husky tournament is off. They are trying for November. The rooms are still booked if anyone wants to still go for a couple of days. Ours is still a goer at this stage but I'm not holding my breathe. I'll update as we go
14.01.2022 Hey all. Husky has now been sanctioned for their tournament. 26/27 September. I've booked the bayside again so confirm your rooms. 44415500. Looking for new players 35 plus.
14.01.2022 The meeting set down for tonight is cancelled
13.01.2022 Special thanks to Pete at Bayside Husky for the holiday for our raffle. It was won by Shane & Naomi Bartlett from Griffith. Enjoy your trip Plus Simon & Belinda Roberts from Loop to Loop for their donation of the macrame wall hanging and pot plant holder won by Kath Ford of Cowra And not to forget Matt and Sarah from Signworx for the donation of the canvas photo won by Renae Thompson of Cowra
13.01.2022 We need a team for saturday. 1 team has pulled out so instead of changing to draw at this late time we'll put together a mixed team to fill in. The game will work as a bye but for goal scorer, fair team and B & F points. Unless we find a team. I have one getting back to me. Let me know if your players would like another game or 2
12.01.2022 Those going to Wagga need to confirm their room at the Palm and Pawn by Wednesday as I’m cancelling left over rooms. There is still a couple of spots if anyone is looking for a game.
12.01.2022 Only 3 weeks to go until our tournament. It looks to be perfect weather. Friday a bit of rain. Saturday, sunny 27 degrees and Sunday, sunny 28 degrees. We always turn on the weather for our visitors. it's the little things that count. But it looks to be another sensational weekend so anybody with nothing to do, come over and watch the geriatrics run around pretending they are still 20 years old. Any Cowra blokes that would like a run, we should have a second team in this year so let me know. There will be a couple of teams a bit short so there will be a spot somewhere. Friday night we'll meet at the Valley hotel (that's the pub with the palm trees) for a debrief (that sounds good) and a few drink and some great food. They'll have some music going and there's even a cell..I mean room for the kids.
12.01.2022 Any 35s wanting a run in Wagga on the 2nd & 3rd March call Fordy 0409 994 735
11.01.2022 Date to remember. The seniors are having a market night on Wednesday night 25th march. It would be great for as many 35's as possible to go. Also the Mudgee tournament is on the long weekend in June. I need to know how many are going ASAP as the accommodation will book out quickly because there's plenty on that weekend so work it out quickly
11.01.2022 The old Bald Eagles would like to congratulate our youngest member and missus on their little egg hatching. Mark, Sarah, Archie and Harper welcome little Freddy into the nest. Well done fellas and hope to see you on Saturday.
10.01.2022 Good luck to all teams competing in the Cowra Country Cup Master's Soccer Tournament this weekend. Teams from Cowra, Bathurst, Orange, Mudgee, Gulgong, Dubbo, Tahmoor, Wagga, Young, Northern Riverina and Huskisson will all compete for the prestigious cup and champions of country NSW. So come over to Sid Kallas oval on Saturday and cheer on the locals.
09.01.2022 Goodaye all Recently I have been in discussions with the local council and football NSW. Due to this shithouse Covid 19 we cannot hold a tournament in the way we would like. Reasons- We can have up to 500 people attend but. There is no overnight stays We have to have Covid Marshalls wandering around making sure you are all being good... We have to strictly enforce the covid laws (sign in, temp checks etc) We can only have a handful of people at the club. I don’t think this would make an enjoyable time for you all plus there would be inspections done and I would hate for anyone to be fined whilst here and us also. We toyed with the idea of a one day tournament or even a 7 a side but it would still mean travelling a long way for a short time. I am very sorry but your well being is more important than a football tournament. This was decided at our executive drinks meeting. I hope things are back to normal next year so we can all enjoy another Cowra Country Cup. Fordy

06.01.2022 Another enjoyable trip to Goulburn for the Husky/Cowra joint venture. Although losing 2 games in the last couple of minutes and 1 terrible draw we had a great time. The Husky boys should learn to play pool though
06.01.2022 Goodaye all Just a quick carnival update. At this stage we are full steam ahead. I have no reason yet to cancel it but we will look at the situation as it arises. If we have to cancel we will look at something a little different, maybe. Stay tuned.
