25.01.2022 Klunk Pool Night We have made the decision to not go to the pool because of the storms but to have alternate activities at the Presbyterian Church Hall. Please ...meet at the hall in Macquarie Street for a fun night, 6.30-8.30pm Please share this change with your friends

24.01.2022 Are you a bloke living in the Central West? There's a Men's Conference coming up from Friday the 27th to Saturday the 28th of March. It'll be a weekend time away for fellowship, with some short talks along the way. It's not too late to register! Just visit the website below for more information, or just go ahead and register at http://fairdinkummensministry.com/registration/

22.01.2022 Join us this Sunday as we resume congregational singing together! Of course there's no compulsion to sing along if you're not comfortable. Please also note the NSW Health recommendation that "the audience or congregation may participate in the singing, but anyone 12 years or older is strongly recommended to wear a face mask if singing." Tomorrow we'll be thinking about Growing through Singing (and Christmas carols in particular!) --- (And just a polite reminder about the usual COVIDsafe requirements: Please maintain 1.5m social distancing; and please stay home if experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms)

22.01.2022 Come and join us for our Christmas Day service :) 9:30am just up the hill on Macquarie Street

21.01.2022 Join us for church online this Sunday! It is (hopefully) our final "online church" before we begin meeting again in-person in September. If you're from Cowra, it's you're last chance to see what church is like, whilst wearing your pajamas!

21.01.2022 G'day all - We've come to the difficult decision that there will be NO YOUTH GROUP this Friday. It was a tough decision, as we'll miss your friendly faces, however, we see this as the best way we all can "love our neighbours." Be expecting updates along the way - maybe even a few memes

20.01.2022 Youth Group this Friday! Year 6ers now welcome as well :)

20.01.2022 This year we'll be working our way through Matthew's Gospel (with a few breaks along the way). It's a biography of the life of Jesus, written by one of his closest followers. All are welcome to join us as we learn about serving the Servant King.

19.01.2022 This Sunday we're beginning a sermon series through the Old Testament book of Job. All are welcome to join us, as we think about some big topics like wisdom, suffering, and the Glory of God.

18.01.2022 All are welcome to join us for our Home Church Video Stream this Sunday, going live at 9:30am

18.01.2022 We're back gathering together "in person" this coming Sunday! At our regular time of 9:30am. Things will be just a little different as we adjust to COVIDsafe regulations. However, we will still do what we know and love: pray, read from the Bible and be taught from it, sing along (in our hearts, not with our voices unfortunately) to Christian songs together, and encourage each other.

18.01.2022 Church ‘Sign Guy’ with his best one yet...

15.01.2022 It was great that the building was *almost* full on Christmas Day, with so many visitors! Here's the message from Christmas Day.

11.01.2022 Last Sunday's sermon - the real story of Christmas

10.01.2022 The leadership team have made the difficult decision to cease our Sunday gatherings for the time being. Whilst we are still under the government-recommended 100 person limit, we are also conscious that a fair proportion our brothers and sisters are in the high risk category with regard to the Corona Virus. We also see this as the best way to love your neighbour in terms of preventing any further spread. I think it’s worth pointing out that while our services have temporar...ily ceased, CHURCH has not stopped. Both the church gathered and the church scattered are still the Church God’s redeemed people, on mission in the world. So, while our Sundays may look a little different, we will still be worshipping God together, albeit from our own homes. A "Home Church Booklet" will be delivered to members over the next couple of days, which will include some devotional thoughts and discussion questions, as we continue our Sunday program. They are designed so that you can do them as an individual, a couple, or a household. There will also be links to songs to listen to, prayer points, and any announcements. In Christ, Stephen

09.01.2022 Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, there are no gatherings in our buildings at the moment. While our physical gatherings have temporarily ceased, CHURCH has not stopped. Both the church gathered and the church scattered are still the Church God’s redeemed people, on mission in the world. So, while our Sundays may look a little different, we will still be worshiping God together, albeit from our own homes. On three Sundays of the month, a "Home Church Booklet" wil...l continue to be delivered to members before each Sunday, which will include some devotional thoughts and discussion questions, along with songs to listen to, prayer points, and any announcements. We'll be working out way through the books of Acts. They are designed so that you can do them as an individual, a couple, or a household. We especially encourage the husbands/dads as the leaders of their household to lead their family well in this. If you would like to be included in our mail out, please contact [email protected] On the first Sunday of each month, we will have the "Home Church Video Stream" which will be posted here and also on our YouTube channel.

09.01.2022 Mrs Morgan has been assisting with scripture classes for over 30 years at Cowra Public School and Mulyan Public School.

06.01.2022 As locals may know, our dear brother Sam Beattie went to be with his Lord last week. His funeral is on tomorrow (Thursday) at 11am. Unfortunately, both buildings will be at max capacity with predominantly family members. The service will be Broadcast Live via Michael Hanley's funerals, cremations and monumental masons Facebook Page. Alternatively, you can view in via Zoom: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/76481630679 Meeting ID: 764 8163 0679 Passcode: sam

03.01.2022 Wouldn't wanna be late for church... :)

01.01.2022 Youth Group is back on! 7:30pm at Cowra Baptist Church, but things will be a little different (to stay COVIDsafe). Hope to see y'all there! EDIT: *SLIGHT UPDATE... TO TONIGHT* - due to a cleaning issue, Youth Group will be outside, and we'll be having a bonfire tonight! It'll also be from 7:30-8:45pm (instead of the usual 9:15pm) Sorry for any inconvenience!
