22.01.2022 At Cowra Dental Practice, technology plays a critical role in providing the patients with the highest standard of care. Our latest addition is CBCT. Cone Beam CT imaging (OPG, CT and Cephalometric) is useful to assess impacted and extra teeth, plan dental implants, review dental pathology and trauma, and assess TM joint arthritis. There are also applications in endodontics and orthodontics. Patients benefit from no more out of town trips for CT scans when needed. We also ha...ve intra-oral cameras. These are small hand-held cameras that fit comfortably in your mouth and display the image onto a monitor. This allows us to show you exactly where treatment may be needed. Digital x-rays emit much lower radiation compared with traditional x-rays. The images can then be enlarged and displayed on screen, enabling precise diagnosis and easier explanation of your treatment needs.

21.01.2022 *** COVID-19 Update - Local / Existing patients only *** After much deliberation, we are regretful to announce that we will no longer accept new patients from out of town. Our local areas include: Cowra and its surrounding suburbs (Canowindra, Grenfell, Wattamondara, Morongla, Gooloogong, Darbys Falls, Billimari, Woodstock and Wyangala, Bumbaldry, Koorawatha)... Our priority is on our local patients. We have no doubt that you understand the gravity of this decision, which was not made lightly. However, at a time like this, what is most important is our communitys health and keeping loved ones safe. You might be asked to show your identification upon arrival if you are new to our practice. If you are a continuing patient and does not live in the town listed above, please do not hesitate to contact us if there is any urgent problem. We hope to get through this and are focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel. We look forward to being able to provide dental care to all our patients as soon as it is safe to do so. We appreciate your understanding in this difficult time.
