21.01.2022 SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AT MAYFIELD Due to popular demand we will once again be offering Mini-Mayfielder Adventure Days during the forthcoming school holidays. Thi...s special adventure program is aimed at children aged 5 to 12 years. Parents drop off their children at 10.45am and collect them again at 3.00pm once they have completed an art class, eaten lunch and taken a special kids’ tour of the garden, including some time in the famous Mayfield maze. All-inclusive $50 per child and $40 for any additional siblings. Week 1 dates are Tuesday 29 September to Friday 2 October and Week 2 Tuesday 6 October to Thursday 8 October. 10.01.2022 Want to create your own Bonsai? Cath Duncan will be hosting two Workshops at the Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre on Saturday 27th February. The first ...will run from 10am to 1pm, the second from 2pm to 5pm. The type of plants to be used for this workshop are Port Jackson Figs. The tuition is free however each participant will need to pay $40 for the materials for the workshops (this includes the plant, pot, soil and wire). Normal entry fees to the Garden will apply however if you have a current Friend of the Garden annual pass your entry is free. If you would like to attend you will need to book your place by phoning the Garden on 6341 2233. Places are limited with only 8 spots per class available so we recommend you book early.
