This year we where unable to have the NAIDOC march or community fun day. Our local community have been so incredibly generous with their giving , we THANK each and every one of you... 19.01.2022 Awesome way to start our week. BIG huge shout out to the staff from Cowra Centrelink. These guys decided to fundraise amongst themselves , they raised enough money to donate 6 sleeping bags and a box full of toiletries. A little birdie told us , Graham from French’s Store Cowra , really helped these guy stretch their money . Truely grateful , these sleeping bags will definitely come in handy ! ... 19.01.2022 R U OK ? Day sits a bit odd for me personally. We shouldnt need 1 day a year to remind us to show kindness, compassion , and to check in on our mates. Every day brings me joy when i hear one of our team , either staff or volunteers , checking in , giving a smile or just making people feel they are seen!... We do not promise to fix everything , but we can promise to listen and help refer to the best place that can. So today or any day of the week, we invite you to call in , grab a tea or coffee and just have a chat. Our door is always open and we can always find an ear to listen. 19.01.2022 Over the past 2 weeks we have been extremely busy at Stewart St. We are incredible blessed that families have entrusted CINC with their loved ones. Keeping our service small enables us to work on and incorporate individual goals into our day. This fortnight seen us working on physical goals, social development goals as well as intellectual goals. ... Our team is small , but they are dynamic and will encourage each individual to reach for the stars. 18.01.2022 We are working on so much in the background at CINC. 2021 is going to be HUGE!! Today we opened CINC’s newest building up , and had Cowra Special Needs , secret women’s business give it a test run. These ladies smiled and explored and all want to certainly come back ( Cody even asked to sleep !) This afternoon we held our first lot of swimming lessons . Our amazing swimming instructor Grace , couldn’t believe how much these children concentrated on their lessons. The ...no distractions of noise , splashing and other people being in the pool , is definitely a winner . The shade sails covering the pool were an extra bonus ! Locals Supporting Locals Fran xxx

17.01.2022 This year we wanted to acknowledge the incredible men in our community , with a small token of appreciation for fathers day. Starting tomorrow 60 lucky dads , grandpa’s or male role models will be receiving their goodie bags. How amazing do they look ! 16.01.2022 This is why we love living in our amazing community! Today we had a surprise visit from Mulyan Public School , Captain Quarindee Bohman. This amazing girl generously donated over $50. Quarindee has been doing lots of odd jobs to raise this money and wanted us to have it, so we could make someones Christmas a bit brighter. ... 14.01.2022 * * * Exciting Post * * * We pride ourselves on thinking outside the box. We know our strengths and 100% back our vision. Time for a leap of faith here at CINC!... We have kept Nat super busy over the past few months with lots of training. We can now officially let everyone know that we are offering a Key Worker to support families with adapting to life with a child under 7 years, with additional needs. 14.01.2022 What a fun morning at playgroup with some National Science Week experiments. The children had lots of fun seeing a balloon blow up and and a volcano erupt when combining vinegar and baking soda to cause a chemical reaction. We watched a short video and learnt about the North and South Pole of magnets. The children then experimented with magnets to see which ends would attract and repel. Big thank you to our families with unwell children who respected our covid safe policy and stayed home keeping us all safe.

12.01.2022 We are just like proud parents ! There is so much joy watching the progress of the 21 little guys, at that have trusted CINC to deliver their Early Intervention Services , through NDIS. Michelle has been incredibly busy developing the individual programs for each person. ... We have been working on building relationships and building skills that add to each families NDIS goals. From the bottom of our heart we thank the services that have embraced the ethos of working together . NDIS is your plan , your money , your choice. 03.01.2022 Learning through play is a term used in education to describe how a child can learn to make sense of the world around them. Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. This past fortnight we have been focusing on our fine motor skills which is the coordination of small muscles and movements. You can help your child learn through play and develop their fine motor skills by using play dough, scissors, drawing and household items as shown in the pictures.

02.01.2022 We have been taking advantage of the weather and holding playgroup outdoors where possible which has allowed more people to join. Being outdoors is a great way for children to develop their Gross Motor Skills . Gross Motor Skills involve the larger muscles in the arms, legs and torso. Gross Motor activities include walking, running, throwing, balancing and climbing.
